So what do you guys think? I am considering getting one. I don't have a blu ray player yet. I am really interested in getting a chance to play certain games like God of War 3, Uncharted Series, and others that I can't get on Xbox 360. The exclusives are slimming down though. No point in having two systems that have identical games. I used to be all about the PS2 back in the day but I went Xbox for the last couple years for the online community. So there's a $100 off coupon for the PS3 for Powerup Rewards members (which I am, it's the $15 a year, Game Informer/ Edge Card subscription), and you could get the 160GB model for $200, or the 320GB model for $250 after that discount. And according to Sony, PSN will be down for a few days. Sony is citing Anonymous as the culprit. While Anonymous is denying the claim, they did offer to allow access to PSN if you gave them your credit card information. I assume if hacking were the reason for the PSN servers being down, it has alot to do with the recently resolved GeoHot vs Sony jailbreaking court case. Honestly, I lol'd. I'm rooting for the little guy, even if that means shutting some of us out for a few days to accomplish it, whatever "it" may be. The only thing is that it's within an enclosure, so you'll need a knife or small flathead screwdriver to remove the enclosure, but within it is a standard 9.5mm drive that will work fantastic. I'm purchased it and am going to upgrade later this week and take the drive from my PS4 and put in in my old PS3 (launch fat model and still kicking!!)

Welp, for an Alpha test I have to say I'm pretty god damned impressed. I was never a huge fan of Halo, but this game is seriously fun. I was sucked in last night and didn't even get a chance to try out Battlefield (I got a code for that too). Best way to describe it is like Halo, with different character classes, mixed with a lot of Borderlands influence combined with maybe a hint of MMO. Super fun from what I've played. Probably going to pick this one up for sure.

So I've been playing pretty solid for over a week now, and I have to say the way drops are handled in Destiny absolutely is miserable. Once you hit level 20, you're pretty much capped in your level gaining unless you find items that contain "Light" (ie. like a chest piece may give you +9 Light as one of it's attributes). Equipping stuff with more and more Light lets you gain higher "levels" so your weapons and such can damage higher level monsters, etc. Aaaaaannnyways. It's all random pretty much, aside from grinding out missions to be able to buy them (for a ridiculous sum for the record and would take a loooong time to gear up). And that leads me to the actual …

I decided I haven't played anything lately and picked this up on a whim last night. I really just started, but I'm pretty impressed. I'm running the original PS4, and the game does look amazing. It is locked at lower frames, but I haven't seen one frame drop. Not to mention no loads to speak of so far, and all the cutscenes seem to be using the game engine so it's seamless. Game play wise I'm just getting started. I'll be honest, I'm pretty tired of the gather stuff to make stuff game play style that has taken over. Anyone looking into maybe playing this? I have it on pre-order. Gamespot only gave it a 6, but it got 4 stars on Joystiq and a "Yes" on Kotaku. I'm still interested in playing it myself.

Okay, so I JUST got a PS3, and only have Soul Calibur V. I thought I'd love it, considering it's Soul Calibur. But, it turns out, it's okay. I also have LittleBig Planet 2 and an old PS game.
