Want to win a $5 XBLA game? All you have to do is make your own fsjal. It can be done with paint, photoshop, hand drawn (with or without drawing on a printed out template), whatever. Just please do not find one someone else made on the internet and post it (there are literally hundreds), as that would beat the whole purpose of the contest! I guess you can put your name into the image to help verify it's authenticity. Don't know what fsjal is? It's a meme involving a funny looking character that has practically become the My Little Pony of the internet. You can find out all you need to know about it, as well as some examples, here: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fsjal Here …

Laaaaaaadies and Gentlemen! Prepare to be amazed! Prepare to be astounded. Prepare to laugh immensely at the ridiculousness of AwkwardStockPhotos.com! Gamercide's August contest is as follows: - Head to link above, or click here if you're LAZY, and find a picture. Any picture. There are pages and pages of options to choose from. - Pick your favorite and paste it into this thread, along with a caption (just text is fine underneath your post). It doesn't have to be Photoshopped or altered in any way unless you'd like, but this is not a contest of creativity. So apparently the makers of Deadliest Warrior liked my review (http://gamercide.org/?p=1573). Chris sent them a message talking about and linking to my review, and they sent him FOUR code's to download the game, to be used for contests and whatnot. I will be holding a contest here for two of them, and Chris will hold one with the others sometime later on. Now, onto the contest. All you have to do to enter, is post your favorite method of dispatching your enemies. The winners will be chosen using random.org. The contest will end on Wednesday, July 28th. Enjoy! I highly recommend this game if anyone wants to just buy it, too, maybe after the contest is over. For only 800 MS…

The winner of the contest was PeeKnuckle! Congratulations! I purchased the 4 pack of Borderlands and split it with some friends of mine, but we still had an extra copy. So, I decided there might as well be more free stuff to be given out here! Just post here and tell me what you like about the game and you'll be entered into a random drawing to win a Steam Copy of Borderlands for the PC! I'll do the drawing next Friday April 9th.

I've had a licensed copy of their program for years now, and I have come to respect them for their dedication to their customers. They always prom…

http://gamercide.org/?p=1468 Another month has passed and that means it's time to giveaway more cool stuff here at Gamercide! During my perusing of the internets, I occasionally stumble across something so awesome that it begs to be given as a prize. This month's contest is quite possibly the cleanest contest that I've ever sponsored, and the prizes this month are guaranteed to keep you fresh! Behold! A handmade creation that inspires awe in the hearts of Star Wars fanboys everywhere! I know, I know. I'm speechless too! What is cooler than a bar of soap that looks like Han Solo encased in carbonite? That's right! NOTHING! TWO lucky winners will receive one (…

Here is how the contest works. Sholtz and I have really crappy internet. So we are going to go head to head to see who has the worst. Your job is to guess who has the worst. I will show the results tomorrow and the people who guess right, their names will be thrown into a hat and win a prize. I'm not really sure what the prize will be, probably a game that is on sale off of steam tomorrow. Don't worry there will be a prize you greedy ********. So guess away!

Okay so maybe you didn't get Xbox 360 at launch like I did.. maybe you skipped the launch lineup altogether and you never got a chance to experience this ridiculous fighting game. Your loss, my friend! This is the only launch title that I kept from day one. Everything else got sold off and traded over time. Not this one.. this was special. I used it to have hilarious parties with friends. Where else can you use a female Master Chief to throw a ninja into a dinosaur?! But now it's time to retire it. People now come over to play Kinect, who can blame them. I will always have found memories of this game though. You want this? You know you do. Here's the criteria: 1) You must…

Hey everyone, this contest will be for any $5 xbox live arcade game (because that's really all I can afford at the moment). All you have to do it pick an alternate character for me to play in Super Street Fighter 4 (Character List). Whichever character gets the most votes will be my alt. All I ask is that you keep the character C tier and up, and please no Ryu or Ken (Tier List). Gen is also exempt from the contest because he is my main. Don't feel the need to pick a top tier, just pick someone who looks/plays to your liking. The contest will end next Friday at around this time. Once the contest is closed I will use a random generator to select a winner. EDIT: If you real…

In honor of our home re-opening I am having a contest to give away two prizes. One that i chose and one random winner. All the eligible entries will be written down on pieces of paper except the first winner whose entry i like best, then numbers will be written next to the names. I will roll dice and whose name coincides with the roll will win...... or i'll just use a random number generator To enter your contest you simply need to write down the recipe for your favorite burgers. You can either use a real recipe or use your imagination. If you don't want to be included in the contest (really??) but still want to join in the fun, just write not an entry on the top of the…

Simple contest, put a post in the thread and I'll randomly draw a name. What's up for grabs you ask? A sweet Halo Legends poster from ComiCon, take a look: This one will run from today through to May 1. Tweet it, Facebook it, put it out everywhere. Just link to this article on the main site: http://gamercide.org/?p=1388 Good luck everyone.

So, briza won the Gamefly gift certificate I put up in the giveaway. Later I found out she lives in Australia, and that caused some concern. So I messaged Gamefly on their facebook page, and also emailed them, hoping for a quick answer as to if they deliver there or not. Both answers came back that they do not, unfortunately they only deliver to the United States. SO.... If you live in the United States and you want FREE games for 3 months (2 at a time!!!) just make a post in this thread!!!! I'm sorry about this, but I wanna ask that only members that have 20+ posts enter. Hurry and make your post, I will do the drawing tomorrow! I will post a video of me, Ash and Ian doi…

I would like to see two things happen over the next month 1) More people post about topics they find interesting 2) Clear out the extra items that have been sitting in my Steam inventory To accomplish both, I am going to hold a 4-Week Contest. -- HOW TO ENTER -- Simply post a topic on the forums about something you find interesting. Odds are someone else will find it interesting and there will be more material to read on slow weekends like today. Once you create the topic, reply to this topic with a link to the topic and I will count that as an entry. Wash and repeat every week over the next month to get an entry for each week of the contest I have been trying to do th…

Thanks to everyone who participated. Winners are: Cody Nick Awe4Some Ok, now bear with me. I know this sounds a little crazy. "Duke Nukem 3D for the PC? But its available for my XBOX!?" Yes, it sure is, for 10 dollars US with nothing added to it except native support for online DM and coop. This alone is probably worth the extra premium for the sake of ease, but the PC version is where its at. I will explain further. GOG.com has this title for 5.99US, and I would guarantee the same quality game you get from the Xbox will certainly work for your PC for less. "But this is a Giveaway, who cares what it costs?" Good point! On to my next point! The game for the PC has plenty…

CONTEST OVER: Winners: Cody, PeeKnuckle and AudaciousKevin I have up for grabs three Introversion Complete Packs from Steam! This includes the games: Darwinia, DEFCON, Multiwinia, and Uplink. The beauty of which they all require minimal system requirements ( pretty much any modern computer can play them). They are also each great games in their own right. You can check them out here: http://www.introversion.co.uk/ In honor of those war games I have decided to host a Battleship contest! The rules are simple: Here is the battlefield: On my battlefield are ships: 1 - Four Cell Ship 2 - Three Cell Ships 3 - Two Cell Ships 4 - One Cell Ships That is a total of 20 cells that…

The Haul: One of two different games will be sent out to two winners. Both are for PC and redeemable on Steam. The Catch: Gosh, you know me so well! You're the pretend director of a new action/romance/biography movie about the real lives of Green Grenades and PeeKnuckle. The only thing you as director needs to do is, fill in the real Hollywood actors/actresses that would play their parts. If you want to expound on the movie, a scene, or even some pics (no facehole pics, please) then go right ahead! The Games: DLC Quest http://store.steampowered.com/app/230050/?snr=1_7_15__13 Valdis Story: Abyssal City http://store.steampowered.com/app/252030/?snr=1_7_15__13 The L…
