I have made up my mind. Within the next month or two I would like to build myself a new PC. While I have a pretty good knowledge about PCs, I am not 100% sure how to go about finding all the parts and not missing any. I want this PC to be a medium-high end gaming PC that will be able to run anything on at least medium and last for several years without major upgrades. Money is not a huge issue but I would prefer to be between $800-$1200, but am willing to spend up to $1500. What is your favorite retro title? Mine is Robo Warrior on NES. I wrote a review for it that was published in a retro gaming magazine (an online one but still). Great game that I have been playing since I got it right around it's initial (only?) release on NES.

So I've been fiddling around with the live streaming to Twitch feature in Black Ops 2. I bought some cables, hooked up both my laptop and Xbox directly to my router to reduce wireless latency. I'm in the market for a new graphics card for my pc. I currently have 2 GTX 460s and I would like to get rid of the SLI setup and go for a single super-powerful gpu. Not looking for a titan, but maybe the next best thing. About to get my bonus from work so I could probably have a max of maybe $500-$600 tops. Around $300 would probably be preferred though. Currently looking at the GTX 680, but would like to hear what the other options are. (Looking at you Dat. lol)

I've always wondered where do the video game guns,ammo, grenades,vehicle,clothing,dirt,grass,sand,hats,taunts,deaths, dog tags,badges, ribbons, ect ect. come from? I can be sitting there in perfect immersion and then a jet poofs in front of me, or my horse rides up a up the steep side of a moutain and a pack of wolves come falling from the sky. Alright my fellow streamers...I'll try to make this as simple as possible. I use my Xbox 360 through a VGA cord, hooked up to a 2 way pc monitor switch. I can switch between my laptop and xbox 360 through the push of a button. Now that's out of the way, what are the steps I would need to be able to stream and record through the VGA process. It's different than your typical Streaming. I should note as well, I own no capture device.

I googled this question and couldn't find the answer. And I have been pondering on it for the past few months, I've even asked friends and family and nobody can tell me the answer. The question is. Why do dogs have jagged lips? Not all of dogs might have this but I know my dog and five other dogs I looked at all had jagged lips. Almost reminds me of an alligator. If you have a dog look at his lips, he should have these jagged edges and I can't seem to figure out why they have these.

Hey, so I've been having some issues with my laptop overheating and crashing, at times I'll have AIM, itunes, firefox, and word open so I've lost data in the past. So i brought it into Staples for a Free Pc tune up. After 1 and half hours of waiting, they said my software was fine, no viruses, and they dusted out my laptop fan. They said though that my laptop's fan doesn't shut off basically and to find out what was wrong would take a $70 diagnostic test. I'm a little tight on cash so I figured why not ask the computer experts here . Anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone know where you can download Twitch streams in anything larger than 30 minute segments? I stream for like.. 6 hours at a time, and 30 minute increments is a fucking nightmare to download sometimes. Twitch is basically getting rid of all the streams with copyrighted audio, so I want to save my shit.

Well I moved into this house last year, and the dog they have now is the second one in a year. My neighbor on the other side said this will be the fifth dog they've had. My roommate said he knows they have had several dogs before also. He told me two years ago he had to throw a plastic bag full of water over the fence during the summer because they leave the dog out all the time and there wasn't any water. I have a 100$ gamstop giftcard and I am going to put it towards a new xbox 360 console. A couple of questions. Can my GT exist on both consoles as long as I am only signed in on one console at a time? I want to put one console in my bedroom to watch netflix but I dont want to buy another xboxlive subscription unless I have too. Does anybody know what the holiday bundles will be? Can those with Windows 7 play old XP games on it? I read about "XP Mode" but then later found out it isn't really suited to playing games.

My son's dinosaur of a laptop finally gave it up. We want to get him at least a half way decent new one for Christmas. I'm on a $300 - $400 budget...with a strong preference toward leaning to the $300 side. I do know ima have to pony up some cash for something more than mediocre, so if $400 is the number that works, then that's what I'll have to do.
