Our members are welcome to enter as well, but don't be afraid to join in on the fun if you are new! If you are particularly lazy and do not wish to go to the link , to enter the contest you must post something interesting about potatoes. The grand prize winner will be chosen at random and will win Dejobaan's last three games. Two other winners w…

I'm giving away 1 copy of gta classic pack from steam on Tuesday, April 19th. All you need to do to enter the contest is 1 : be a member of Gamercide with a post in any section other than contests, should be pretty simple since one of the first rules of the site is a post in the welcome section 2: Make a reply in this thread answering the question below. If you could be any game character who would it be, and why? All entries will be numbered then the winner drawn at random.

I just preordered Portal 2 on Steam and got a free copy of portal along with my purchase. I already own portal and I also know that many of you do as well, so here is what I am going to do. The first person to post that can prove they do not own the game on PC (through steam) or on Xbox 360 (the arcade version and/or Orange Box) wins the copy. What I will want to see is a link to your Steam and/or Xbox 360 profiles showing that you have not played the game (for example, you have no achievements for portal for the 360, is not in your games list on steam, etc). Again this is for the first person who fits the criteria above and posts here proving so. The game will be awar…

Okay so maybe you didn't get Xbox 360 at launch like I did.. maybe you skipped the launch lineup altogether and you never got a chance to experience this ridiculous fighting game. Your loss, my friend! This is the only launch title that I kept from day one. Everything else got sold off and traded over time. Not this one.. this was special. I used it to have hilarious parties with friends. Where else can you use a female Master Chief to throw a ninja into a dinosaur?! But now it's time to retire it. People now come over to play Kinect, who can blame them. I will always have found memories of this game though. You want this? You know you do. Here's the criteria: 1) You must…

The ThinkGeek 3-D Giveaway - Win a Virtual Boy... & $1,000 Spree Awesome! LoL I entered, even though I alread own two virtual boys.

lol I want to give my copy of GoW2 away but it's hard when everyone and their mother has played it. SOOOO here is my contest: If you do not have GoW2 achievements on your gamercard, and you are the first to post, you win! Sounds simple enough but I have a feeling it's going to be here a while. Contest ends in two weeks if no one claims it. Good luck, noobs!

I'm feeling in a generous mood today (lolz)...so I'm hosting a little contest. The winner will receive one Bulletstorm Epic Edition for the Xbox 360. I'll ship to your residence straight from BestBuy.com. To enter, post in this thread: Why you'd like the game, and why you should be the one to get it. and A few sentences to explain how video games have helped shaped you as a person, affected your life, etc. (if they have) and if they haven't, why not. If I like one answer above the others, I'll choose you, if I can't pick, I'll randomize it. You have til midnight tomorrow (EST) or 9 PST. Good luck! US Entries only, Sorry... Also, if you win, you must play it with me. =P

Well I won a Steam (PC) copy of Just Cause 2 from Dateranoth in the giveaway, but, ironically, he had already gifted me that game a month or two ago, so I will be giving that away to one lucky person. To enter, all you have to do is tell me the most creative use you can think of for a magic grappling hook that can tether any two things together. The winner will be picked at random. The only guideline for entering is that you be an active member (as defined here: http://www.gamercide...and-regulations). If you are a newish member that wins and never posts again, I will find you. >) If you don't have a fancy PC, enter my Fallout: New Vegas (Xbox 360) contest here (I…

There was a mixup with the winner of my copy of Fallout New Vegas (Xbox 360) in the giveaway and he was disqualified, so that prize is still up for grabs. All you have to do to enter is tell me how you would survive in a post-apocalyptic future. The winner will be picked at random. The only guideline for entering is that you be an active member (as defined here: http://www.gamercide...and-regulations) If you are a newish member that wins and never posts again, I will find you. >) If you have a fancy PC, enter my Just Cause 2 (PC; Steam) contest here (It's okay to enter both, but the winner of the first drawing will be removed from the second): http://www.gamercid…

Because as far as I'm concerned... I have a $20 Best Buy gift card that I received way back from reserving Halo Reach! I'm not using it so who wants it?? Oh, you better post here quick cuz you have until I get back from work late this evening when I use random.org to select the winner!!

I have a code for a set of Isaac Clarke Dragon Age 2 armor, I'm not going to use it, and I figured at least I could do was give it away to someone on Gamercide. I'm not too sure if anyone would have been interested in this, so I didn't think of some big contest. If you're interested in the code, post here, and I'll PM the code to you. Here is a video for the armor: <object width="853" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFbfxINhjIg?fs=1&hl=en_US&hd=1"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFbfxINhjIg?fs=1&hl=en_US&hd=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true">&lt…

Iv'e gotta an extra code if any one wants it. Ignition

EDIT I've decided to scrap this contest and roll all my prizes over to the Gamercide Giveaway. I would still love to see the streamers who volunteered stream and promote the giveaway instead of this contest. Get the word out! CLICK HERE FOR THE GAMERCIDE GIVEAWAY POST Ok, so, I went a little overboard and bought a bunch of games from Steam. I decided it would be a good time to put together a giant stream related giveaway. JTV will be the best platform since random users can come in and we can now allow stream access to anyone on the channel. We can promote our portal while doing so, but JTV will be hosting grounds for this largely due to the much more controlled cha…

It's the same as what I have on my avatar at the time of this posting(and will probably have on until at least the contest is over), note that its treated as an outfit, so you can't mix and match with other stuff besides props. Just post to enter and the winner will be picked at around Monday at 1PM eastern time I suppose, unless there aren't many entries by then.

The lovely and extremely wonderful bs angel (follow her on the Twitters!), has given us another helmet code. To win this one, you'll need to use some MSPaint skills. Nothing too hard. Just put a Halo character into a ballet tutu. That's it! Since I'll be using a random number generator, you can even just post two images. One of a character, and another of a tutu. Just add in a plus (+) sign or something. Appropriate tutu Doing it wrong Contest ends Wednesday night.

Got a code from the lovely bs angel. God love her. Tell me in seven words or less, why it should go to you. Seven words or less. (inoucwutididthar) I'll choose a winner on Friday, sometime during the night.

Hey boys and girls, holy crap did I get some crappy merch this year! And YOU can win it! Yes sir! First up, Inflatable Dead Space 2 Plasma Cutter! Holy hell that is a crappy looking gun! Take it in the pool with you and have fun. Next up: Comic Jumper T-Shirt I won this from Microsoft for coming in THIRD place in a Hydro Thunder contest! THIRD! My shame is your reward. You won't find this ugly mofo anywhere else. It's hideous! All you have to do is post here saying 'Hot damn this is the crappiest contest ever!' or some variation like that! Contest ends Friday August 6th. Who knows, there might be some other cool stuff in this package, maybe some stuff that's not crappy …

Laaaaaaadies and Gentlemen! Prepare to be amazed! Prepare to be astounded. Prepare to laugh immensely at the ridiculousness of AwkwardStockPhotos.com! Gamercide's August contest is as follows: - Head to link above, or click here if you're LAZY, and find a picture. Any picture. There are pages and pages of options to choose from. - Pick your favorite and paste it into this thread, along with a caption (just text is fine underneath your post). It doesn't have to be Photoshopped or altered in any way unless you'd like, but this is not a contest of creativity. Simply posting a picture in this thread along with a quick caption is your entry for this month's contest…

Hey everyone, this contest will be for any $5 xbox live arcade game (because that's really all I can afford at the moment). All you have to do it pick an alternate character for me to play in Super Street Fighter 4 (Character List). Whichever character gets the most votes will be my alt. All I ask is that you keep the character C tier and up, and please no Ryu or Ken (Tier List). Gen is also exempt from the contest because he is my main. Don't feel the need to pick a top tier, just pick someone who looks/plays to your liking. The contest will end next Friday at around this time. Once the contest is closed I will use a random generator to select a winner. EDIT: If you real…

So apparently the makers of Deadliest Warrior liked my review (http://gamercide.org/?p=1573). Chris sent them a message talking about and linking to my review, and they sent him FOUR code's to download the game, to be used for contests and whatnot. I will be holding a contest here for two of them, and Chris will hold one with the others sometime later on. Now, onto the contest. All you have to do to enter, is post your favorite method of dispatching your enemies. The winners will be chosen using random.org. The contest will end on Wednesday, July 28th. Enjoy! I highly recommend this game if anyone wants to just buy it, too, maybe after the contest is over. For only 800 MS…

Want to win a $5 XBLA game? All you have to do is make your own fsjal. It can be done with paint, photoshop, hand drawn (with or without drawing on a printed out template), whatever. Just please do not find one someone else made on the internet and post it (there are literally hundreds), as that would beat the whole purpose of the contest! I guess you can put your name into the image to help verify it's authenticity. Don't know what fsjal is? It's a meme involving a funny looking character that has practically become the My Little Pony of the internet. You can find out all you need to know about it, as well as some examples, here: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fsjal Here …

I have a card for one month of LIVE. Anyone need it? First post gets it. Easy as that.
