I got a lap top, and I need to know how to make it where my F1-F12 keys do just that without having to press Fn. Like for instance my F1-F12 keys have other functions like F2 turns on/off the net, F3 shows the battery power so if I need to use my F keys in a game I have to press Fn as well. So is there anyway to change them just to regular F keys and if I need to use the other functions I can use Fn then? Because I never ever use those functions on my computer.

As an individual grinding his gears in college... Im curious as to if MMO games are worth the time and money spent playing. I already have limited time to play any game, let alone one that never ends! However, I am a huge KOTOR fan and they decided to switch their game play to MMO for their new title... how fun are these things?

So I just got a new laptop, a Sony Vaio, if anyone is interested, and I need some anti-virus software. I know there are some great free ones out there, I just don't know what they are. My mom wants me to install Norton (Ugh...) but I'm not gonna cause in my past experiences, it slows down my PC and it's not all that great. SO, what are some good anti-virus programs?

What is your favorite retro title? Mine is Robo Warrior on NES. I wrote a review for it that was published in a retro gaming magazine (an online one but still). Great game that I have been playing since I got it right around it's initial (only?) release on NES.

Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition on my PC will lock up after about an hour of gameplay and windows will alert that the program has stopped working and needs to close. I have tried to find and answer on google, but not much has helped me. Anyone have any ideas why this could be happening? Not a huge issue, but kind of annoying.

I just ordered a new pc and I thought it was a damn good deal, but some of my friends are trying to tell me they could build a better one for less. I got this for around $680 delivered after my discount. I looked through fry's and newegg trying to get the best deal and found I couldn't even buy the parts this comes with for that price. Please let me know what you think.

Ok, so my problem is I'm on HDMI with my Xbox. When I'm on the dashboard, streaming videos/music, doing pretty much anything, the audio is perfectly fine. But as soon as I put in a DVD to watch a movie, the audio cuts out. Does anyone have any clue as to why that may be? I have an Xbox 360 S if that helps at all.

i want to buy stickers, create designs, and print them myself. do you guys know anywhere i could buy like a kit with the labels and software?

i bought an hp wireless elite keyboard and mouse. they work off the same dongle. i installe the drivers, etc...but the keyboard works and the mouse doesn't. hp suppport tells me they can't find the part info and can't elp me. any ideas? every other mouse i hook to it works great.

I have made up my mind. Within the next month or two I would like to build myself a new PC. While I have a pretty good knowledge about PCs, I am not 100% sure how to go about finding all the parts and not missing any. I want this PC to be a medium-high end gaming PC that will be able to run anything on at least medium and last for several years without major upgrades. OK, I've been trying to get the sound from my TV to my receiver through a digital optical out cable. So far unsuccessful. The TV is a SONY Bravia KDL-52EX700 and the receiver is a Pioneer VSX-817. If anyone can help me it would be awesome.

I have a problem. Something came up on my screen a couple of days ago, saying there was a device found on my network called PC-LENNY, and asked if I wanted to share files with this device. I accidentally pressed yes, but didn't think anything of it. Turns out my upload speed has increased and it's kicking me off of Live every so often. How can I change stop this from happening? I think this "Lenny" guy is downloading files from my computer. Please help!

I have a 100$ gamstop giftcard and I am going to put it towards a new xbox 360 console. A couple of questions. Can my GT exist on both consoles as long as I am only signed in on one console at a time? A close friend to us all, can't play his 360 games. He is missing one cheap little piece of plastic, that is keeping him from gaming. It's like this piece, but it's the hollowed out one.
