Hey All, This game almost got me to purchase. ALMOST! AC 3 got me to impulse buy and I left rather disappointed. It was not the worst game at the time but for an AC game I had higher expectations especially since I enjoyed Ezio's story. The reviews for this game look awesome. 9's flying all over the place with suggestions that all your frustrations with AC3 have been addressed. I gotta say the lure of playing AC IV is strong. What all these glowing reviews don't address is the way Ubisoft sets this up. Ummm. Wow! Loving' it so far! Biggest thing for me is the combat just rocks! After the initial getting used to the controls, the inventory becomes second nature. The action is fluid and no lag at all. I took the time to install the game though, so you may want to do that. Wingsticks are a lifesaver make sure to carry a lot of them. Even though they are supposed to come back I find that they are lost in combat unless you are in a very open environment and sometimes not even then. YOU MUST GET THIS GAME. Jason is 6'3 and has a problem playing Kinect Sports....it won't pick up his movements for the javelin or discuss...could it be because he is tall? Granite and I have no problem playing it. I'm 5'4 and Granite is well up to my hip. Ideas?

I rarely see anyone talk about XBLA releases. Am I the only one that spends WAY too much money on these things? The latest few I've picked up have all been pretty stellar. List below: Deadlight - Mixed reviews, but if you are a fan of 'Out Of This World', then give this one a try. Quantum Conundrum - A very Portal-esque game (Also on PC). So my OG 360 is dying. It's old, and I have to fight with the damn thing to read discs. It boots up and all, but the disc drive is a piece of **** and it's out of warranty. Well I have a gift code for Newegg for $50 and was thinking what the heck, I could just buy a new one and be done with it. I was looking at possibly getting one of the Kinect bundles. I have games like Ghost Recon and Mass Effect 3 which are Kinect enabled, and Gunstringer looks pretty fun, but for those of you who have Kinect do you ever really use it? I was thinking about getting Dance Central for the hell of it too. Any thoughts?

There's threads for the add-ons but not the real game, until now. I do thusly believe Capcom has done a goodjob with this game. They took Dead Rising 1, cloned it, modded it, then fixed all the things that needed to be fixed. The combo weapon system is fairly "kickin," however with so many items to combine, it is challenging to put the right pieces together. The bosses are extremely difficult, and not made to be beaten the first playthrough. I was really dissapointed with the multiplayer system. Especially after playing Halo's stream lined matchmaking. Wow I had my doubts cause as you know I did not like GTAIV too much. In fact I hated it for many reasons lol. This game however looks pretty good from this new gameplay vid. I didn't really care for the three characters they announced and still don't but they could grow on me. This game looks like it has so much cool stuff to do it could be hard to pass up. We will see. There was so much talk about this game, but it doesn't even have its own thread! Now it does. I just got this game, and I have to say, apart from the graphics, this game is amazing. I've just entered Greenvale and went to the Police Station. There is a lot of things to do in this game, including everyday basic things (shaving, getting gas for your car) and I always wanted a game that has little factors like this (Don't like the Sims though). Main character is cool too. Anyway, what's the scary factor in this game, from a 1 to 10.

Looks like the new Dashboard update is scheduled to hit for everyone on tomorrow (November 1st). This one brings all the Kinect updates, updated Avatars (Hopefully they have fixed the broken clothes, costumes, props, etc.), ESPN3 support (with a participating ISP), Netflix updates (Including search), and more. Those of us who have had the preview have liked everything added for the most part. At least the people I've talked to.

Just watch the first episode of the season and this commercial came up, seems alright for 800 ms points maybe a little more if it has online, which looking at it, most likely does.

So, I'm looking into getting a new Xbox 360, especially with taxes rolling in soon...I was wondering if you guys had any advice on which one to get. The best deal for me looks to be the Slim 250 GB for around $300...I was wondering if any of you who have the slim model would vote for or against it. Otherwise, I could get a refurbished or used Elite for a good price most likely. Also, I'm probably going to only get one game at first, looking for a good one with a lot of replay value, and hopefully one that a lot of you here have. What would you suggest? Halo Reach? Black Ops? Thanks a lot for any input!
