I didn't feel like buying it from the store, so I slapped on a StealthBoy and stole the *******. I either use this or my modded 10mm pistol.

Because Deckard's gun is so awesome that it deserves it's own post. Besides, since it's just an announcement that I got it, it's not exactly a "tip" or "trick". LoL

Have you seen that bad *** hunting rifle that old black man uses, I wish I knew his name, he is in a recon out fit and he leaves the NCR HQ to go to their outpost. It's like black with gold designs. I didn't even think to try to steal it off him.

It's in the Dinosaur gift shop. You can buy it there for about 1500 caps, 1337 caps if you have a high barter, or if you steal the key off the guy you can grab it in the storeroom which is what I did!

Also in the storeroom is a TON of dinosaur souvenirs, and also a ton of the souvenir rockets. If you pick up the rockets, you can use them to complete the quest with the Ghouls who want to go on the rocketship thingy at the REFCONN station. I don't remember the name of the quest though.

Oh damn it's in the store room? He gave me the key I forgot what I did though. Dang it, guess I need to head back to Novac.

He gave me the key when I needed the rocket fuel for that Repcon mission. I'm headin back there now too.

Honestly? I have no clue. I just went in there after ganking the key from him, shut the door behind me and got excited seeing so many dinosaurs and rockets that I could put in my gas station/house. LoL

I was just click A like mad to pick up everything in there. It was only when I opened up my inventory to see how many dinos I got that I noticed it.

I don't know man I went in there several times and never saw the gun, I would think it would be in his inventory and not inside the room, maybe you stole it on accident. Want to know something really strange, I have Boone as my companion so far every we have been in a location with a rare weapon he picks it up. I went to his inventory like after 6 hours of playing and he had lucky, all american rifle ,and some weird named laser gun.
