OK, I've been trying to get the sound from my TV to my receiver through a digital optical out cable. So far unsuccessful. The TV is a SONY Bravia KDL-52EX700 and the receiver is a Pioneer VSX-817. If anyone can help me it would be awesome.

i bought an hp wireless elite keyboard and mouse. they work off the same dongle. i installe the drivers, etc...but the keyboard works and the mouse doesn't. hp suppport tells me they can't find the part info and can't elp me. any ideas? every other mouse i hook to it works great.

i want to buy stickers, create designs, and print them myself. do you guys know anywhere i could buy like a kit with the labels and software?

So my AX360 just gave up the ghost, whats the difference between the AX720 and AXPRO headset?

Ok, so my problem is I'm on HDMI with my Xbox. When I'm on the dashboard, streaming videos/music, doing pretty much anything, the audio is perfectly fine. But as soon as I put in a DVD to watch a movie, the audio cuts out. Does anyone have any clue as to why that may be? I have an Xbox 360 S if that helps at all.

If you buy dlc on one account can other accounts on the same system use the dlc too?

How many of you guys Dual Boot, of course in computers. I've just installed Ubuntu 10.4 (I believe thats the newest version) on my gameroom pc and old laptop that has broken hinges. I'm currently installing it on this laptop only since it's something I want to learn more about and also have just incase Windows goes crazy. FUN FACT: On my old laptop, with Windows installed, sound NEVER once came out of the laptop once I installed Linux/Ubuntu instantly had sound. Now, I cannot fix the hinges on the laptop nor do I care to but that's still pretty awesome.

I got this for around $680 delivered after my discount. I looked through fry's and newegg trying to get the best deal and found I couldn't even buy the parts this comes with for that price. Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition on my PC will lock up after about an hour of gameplay and windows will alert that the program has stopped working and needs to close. I have tried to find and answer on google, but not much has helped me. Anyone have any ideas why this could be happening? Not a huge issue, but kind of annoying.

So I just got a new laptop, a Sony Vaio, if anyone is interested, and I need some anti-virus software. I know there are some great free ones out there, I just don't know what they are. My mom wants me to install Norton (Ugh...) but I'm not gonna cause in my past experiences, it slows down my PC and it's not all that great. SO, what are some good anti-virus programs?

Well I moved into this house last year, and the dog they have now is the second one in a year. My neighbor on the other side said this will be the fifth dog they've had. My roommate said he knows they have had several dogs before also. He told me two years ago he had to throw a plastic bag full of water over the fence during the summer because they leave the dog out all the time and there wasn't any water. As an individual grinding his gears in college... Im curious as to if MMO games are worth the time and money spent playing. I already have limited time to play any game, let alone one that never ends! I got a lap top, and I need to know how to make it where my F1-F12 keys do just that without having to press Fn. Like for instance my F1-F12 keys have other functions like F2 turns on/off the net, F3 shows the battery power so if I need to use my F keys in a game I have to press Fn as well. So is there anyway to change them just to regular F keys and if I need to use the other functions I can use Fn then? Because I never ever use those functions on my computer.

Alright my fellow streamers...I'll try to make this as simple as possible. I use my Xbox 360 through a VGA cord, hooked up to a 2 way pc monitor switch. I can switch between my laptop and xbox 360 through the push of a button. Now that's out of the way, what are the steps I would need to be able to stream and record through the VGA process. It's different than your typical Streaming. I should note as well, I own no capture device.

I googled this question and couldn't find the answer. And I have been pondering on it for the past few months, I've even asked friends and family and nobody can tell me the answer. The question is. Why do dogs have jagged lips? Not all of dogs might have this but I know my dog and five other dogs I looked at all had jagged lips. Almost reminds me of an alligator. If you have a dog look at his lips, he should have these jagged edges and I can't seem to figure out why they have these.

What's the biggest reason we keep the image and media objects to a minimum? For not as fast internet people? I just really want to be able to make my "Mega Threads" worth-while.
