General Discussion

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PICKLE!!! Have a great day, Mongrel!

Can you do this with a mouse and keyboard? There was a mouse and keyboard vs controller discussion, and it made me bring this clip out. Controller>>>>>>mouse and keyboard

Okay. I know that I have been MIA for the longest amount of time. I've been working really hard with some friends about some business ventures. I can't really go into too much specifics since it's still a work-in-progress. All I can ask is that you imagine a lounge/bar with an eatery and has gaming consoles and computers for entertainment. I need the community's help in this. This is not a joke. This is a friend's dream on the line. I would like to know what everyone, specifically, would like to see in that place that would make them continue to be a frequent customer. Right now, the general consensus is that people would want: in-depth game coverages of tournaments, tou…

WOW! If this turns out to be true, I think some heads will be rolling at Acti/Blizz. That is just uncalled for. [source - DiabloIncGamers]

http://www.engadget.com/2010/04/03/ipad-os-digging-reveals-hints-of-future-iphone-ipod-touch-ipad/ If we're seeing this right, we're looking at not one, but two new mentions of future iPhones (iPhone 3,2 and iPhone 3,3), alongside a new iPod touch (iPod 4,1) and... a future iPad (iProd 4,1). 'Course, none of this gives us any indication of the all-important whos or whens, but at least this confirms that mythical creatures still exist in the hearts of those who believe.

Cliff Bleszinski will be appearing on the Jimmy Fallon show Thursday, April 8th. "Epic Games is collaborating with People Can Fly on an unnamed shooter for Electronic Arts releasing in early 2011 and it's widely rumored the studio is working on Gears of War 3, too. It's unclear if either of these projects will be revealed when Late Night With Jimmy Fallon airs next Thursday." HOT ****!! My hopes are definitely high.

As title stated, Curious minds need to know. ALSO,IT BRINGS FORTH A GREAT DISCUSSION WAH

Do you guys want to watch/discuss it here or should we move it to the Wii section?

happy birthday, America!

Friend did it today, what a way to end it. I've been with this kid almost day in and day out for two years, until the pass few months. Sadly, the most recent time I saw him was a gamestop and all we did was glare at each other, no words spoken. The last thing I said to him was "Are you still interested in buying my Nintendo Wii?" I got a response later on saying "I can't afford it thanks for the offer though." He jumped 48feet from a 4 or 5 story parking garage at the college we go too. Broke both ankles, both legs, and pelvic bone. Died from internal bleeding. Only 19 years old, less than a month older than me. RIP - Matt.

So what is everyone gonna be!? My daughter decided on Batgirl haha. Every year it is my tradition to match her in some way. So I thought about the Batman universe and decided it is time for me to be.............. The Joker! It has been good fun. I went out and have been piecing it together. I went straight to Goodwill first and found this purple long coat that I think will go really well with this. My wife is gonna help me make some of the other stuff. It's more fun to piece it together than to buy those costumes in a bag. I will have to posts some pics when Halloween comes!

According to IGN, Nintendo will be revealing a new console that is more higher powered than the Xbox 360 and PS3 at this year’s E3. Game Informer is also claiming the same thing by citing mulitple sources and that the new console will be able to run games at HD resolutions. The new console is expected to get a 2012 launch and Nintendo is supposedly hoping that they can bring back third-party developers and “hardcore” fans. Tweet This Post View the full article

Over the past couple of weeks, I have received PM's from some members who are concerned about individuals who are signing up for the Giveaway that appear to only be here for the Giveaway. I planned on addressing these PM's privately, however since I have received a few, I thought I would write a letter to the Gamercide community as a whole, not just the individuals who have sent me PM's. When I first joined Gamercide it was years ago; back when we were still the ATC. Pogre discovered my sarcastic and random ramblings on the Xbox Live forums and invited me to join the community after he thought I was going to get banned on the Xbox Live forums for telling people that t…

No online authentication. No used game restrictions. I don't care how much it costs. I have a launch PS3 (which was ridiculous to begin with). I'm fucking sold. And Elder Scrolls Online + FFXV? Done deal. Game set and effing match Sony. Kudos to you. I wish you well (and my Vita is ready for the cross play!)

http://news.xbox.com/2013/06/update Only 1 online check the first time you boot the system and then no more Disks will work exactly as they do know(need to be in the system to play while installed, no used restrictions, no more digital game sharing) No Region Lock Did not see this coming.
