So, yeah. I haven't been streaming because of 1.) Internets and 2.) SimCity destroyed my graphics card. I tempted fate last night and tried just streaming DS1, and it crashed about 20 minutes in, causing my computer to so an entire system restore (that took about 2 hours). Needless to say, I need a new GPU, woot. Anyone have any suggestions, that aren't heinously expensive? I currently have a GeForce GT 5300. An upgrade is desired, instead of just more of the same.

Sometime not long ago, Vine videos stopped working for me while using Firefox. I am stubborn and will not load up an inferior browser just to watch a Vine clip. OK, I've been trying to get the sound from my TV to my receiver through a digital optical out cable. So far unsuccessful. The TV is a SONY Bravia KDL-52EX700 and the receiver is a Pioneer VSX-817. If anyone can help me it would be awesome.

How many of you guys Dual Boot, of course in computers. I've just installed Ubuntu 10.4 (I believe thats the newest version) on my gameroom pc and old laptop that has broken hinges. I'm currently installing it on this laptop only since it's something I want to learn more about and also have just incase Windows goes crazy. FUN FACT: On my old laptop, with Windows installed, sound NEVER once came out of the laptop once I installed Linux/Ubuntu instantly had sound. Now, I cannot fix the hinges on the laptop nor do I care to but that's still pretty awesome.

Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition on my PC will lock up after about an hour of gameplay and windows will alert that the program has stopped working and needs to close. I have tried to find and answer on google, but not much has helped me. Anyone have any ideas why this could be happening? Not a huge issue, but kind of annoying.

If you're like me and use many Firefox add-ons, you may have been surprised today, to find "Skipity" all over your damn browser. You've already looked in add-ons to remove it and couldn't find it. You've gone into View>Toolbars and didn't see it there, either. Here's how to remove Skipity: Go into Tools>Add-Ons and go right into "Download Youtube" and either disable it, or remove it. That's it. They've paired up with advertisers like Facebook and allowed it to incorporate into places all over your browser. I chose to remove it, since I don't see them changing their decision anytime soon. One last thing. F U Download Youtube. That was a dick move.

I have an hp m9150f that has analog a/v ports on the front. I have Cyberlink PowerDirector that came on the Vista Operating system that was originally on the computer but now I am looking for something that I can use on windows 7. So I have an HP 9340f. It has an Nvidia 9500GS vid card (crap card, but it's a "media" card). On the front of my case it was inputs for composite video in (Yellow video, R/W audio). Can I plug my 360 into these ports and view it on my PC? What software would I need? I've tried googling but I'm stumped.

So I just got a new laptop, a Sony Vaio, if anyone is interested, and I need some anti-virus software. I know there are some great free ones out there, I just don't know what they are. My mom wants me to install Norton (Ugh...) but I'm not gonna cause in my past experiences, it slows down my PC and it's not all that great. SO, what are some good anti-virus programs?

Was just wondering the general consensus for sugarsync, or if there is a better on-line backup service you think is better.

Where can I upload MP3 files? I want to post of the beats I've made here, but don't know how to do so.

So I just bought a new Elite with a 120 GB HD, only problem is that I didn't realize is that it doesn't come with a transfer cable... does anyone have one they can let me use so I can transfer everything off my old HD onto my new one?

Anybody here ever have an luck with recovering files from an external harddrive? I have an older Lacie 500gb that I believe is hooched (turns on but doesn't load to the desktop, doesn't recognize it in the system preferences either). I know there are several levels and types of data recovery but I'm trying to avoid taking it into Tekserve in Manhattan and paying for them to do it, since that'll be expensive. If anyone here can offer some suggestions that would be great. Thanks guys.
