Flash or HTML

Featured Replies

I think it depends on who you ask. HTML certainly better for beginners. And you have to keep in mind flash won't work with iOS. Of course the real comparison would be flash vs HTML5.

If you're not using html5 you can't do the same things as you can with flash. As it stands now flash is widely supported except for iOS, and HTML5 will work on any modern browser.

As of Android 4.0, flash is being phased out for HTML5. If you go with HTML5 you wouldn't need to worry about changing later the huge security hole known as flash is hopefully phased out. HTML5 Does have the risk though that users with older browsers may not see what they should.

I didn't know Android was phasing it out as well. So, yeah, HTML5 all the way.

Both devices are running Android 4.1

Problem is they're killing it too early. If you buy a newer tablet just try watching online videos. Html doesnt currently have many options aside from youtube and crackle...
