Okay, so in about a week or two I plan on getting a new HDTV, but I have seen way too many options and it's made me a bit indecisive. So, I request the aid of the wise ones of the Gamercide community. I'm looking for a 1080p tv with a decent DCR within the 700-900 dollar price range. Can you guys offer any favorites to help me narrow down the search?

Can those with Windows 7 play old XP games on it? I read about "XP Mode" but then later found out it isn't really suited to playing games.

Was just wondering the general consensus for sugarsync, or if there is a better on-line backup service you think is better.

What is your favorite retro title? Mine is Robo Warrior on NES. I wrote a review for it that was published in a retro gaming magazine (an online one but still). Great game that I have been playing since I got it right around it's initial (only?) release on NES.

This is really starting to bug me. Okay first off the connection here is crap, a really big pile of crap. Second off when I first moved in my friend who has a mac always had to reset the internet on his computer because it would just stop working like every 2 minutes he would have to click the antenna symbol and turn it off and back on. Mine was fine for awhile, it still ran slow but I didn't have to reset it every few minutes now it is doing it to me. I've got no clue what the problem is, I keep having to unplug my wireless adapter and putting it back in. My xbox stays connected to live though, so even though our comps disconnect my xbox does not, even though it runs slo…

So my Xbox has been broken now for over a year. The one I've been playing on is my room mates so now that the semester is ending and I want to be playing the Hal;o Reach Beta, I've realized buying a new console all together is a better route then paying another $100 to get my old one fixed only to have it bust just a little over a year when the 1 year warranty expires. We have a good cam that plugs into our computer. It also has a cam built in but we don't want to use that anymore. how do we use the cam corder instead of the cam built in? Everytime we start up jtv it just uses the built in cam where do we go to change it? We are using a mac book pro. anyone know?

So I have a CD/DVD drive on my new laptop, that works like the drive on a PS3. There is no door to lay down the disk on. It's fed in. Problem: My new PC wireless adapter for 360 controllers, came with a tiny disk with the drivers on it. My laptop refuses to accept this CD. What can I do? I searched for drivers online, and I also searched for tiny fucking CD not working with automatically fed CD drives. Came up with zilcho each time.

So I just bought a new Elite with a 120 GB HD, only problem is that I didn't realize is that it doesn't come with a transfer cable... does anyone have one they can let me use so I can transfer everything off my old HD onto my new one?

my sister bought a 40 inch samsung to game on. i guess some folks told her she had to have 120 hz to play games on, so she ponied up for one that did. she says her 360 is only kicking out 60 hz and since she dropped the cash, she wants it at 120. she says it's running 60 hz twice? i dunno. i have no idea about all that. can one of you give me a dummy explanation of what it is?

Alright, I've been trying for days now to get my 360 connected through the wifi here on post. It's supposedly possible to connect to XBL through it but I've had no luck so if anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated. Tryed connecting with automatic settings, no dice. Then did it manually and set the IP and everything to match my laptop thinking that might work (disconnected my laptop of course) and still nothing. So, if anyone has any ideas, it would be awesome.

I have an hp m9150f that has analog a/v ports on the front. I have Cyberlink PowerDirector that came on the Vista Operating system that was originally on the computer but now I am looking for something that I can use on windows 7. I have been trying a few open source alternatives but I can't find something that is good quality. Any suggestions?

Anyone having trouble connecting to Xbox live on their console? I connect to the internet no problem but my console will not connect to live. First time I have ever had this issue too.
