Were any of you guys on the east coast affected Irene at all? I'm in Massachusetts on the border of Rhode Island and I got absolutely slammed. We got 7 inches of rain in 36 hours, prolonged thunderstorms, sustained winds of 50mph, and winds up to 75mph. Will update later. Have no power and won;t for about a week.

I literally just had the best weekend of my life. I went to a music festival called Oxegen where you camp for 4 days. It pissed rain for the first 3 days and the last day was unreal. I got front row for Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine and Jay Z and went to Muse and Black Eyed Peas and they were EPIC. Here's a review in my own words: -I F***ing hate chickens so I smiled while eating them. -It actually tasted pretty good. -Sort of pricey .. sandwich alone cost about $5 -I am extremely dehydrated right now because of how much salt is in it. -Working in kitchens I have made things like this before .. all it is is 2 chicken breast, cheese, bacon, and some sort of sauce. We dropped Comcast awhile ago and I didn't think we'd regret it this bad....BUT we switched to Century Link which is the only other high speed internet people that come out here in this area and this is what we get and we sure as hell aren't getting what we pay for. So I started a new job as a Truck Driver's Helper at a Dunkin' Donuts distribution warehouse. My shift is kind of weird. I have to be in at 2:30AM and the days are usually 12 to 15 hours. Lots of lifting and dragging two-wheelers full of boxes and milk crates into stores and all that. I worked yesterday and was so happy I finally had a day off since starting. I then got back home, accidentally fell asleep at like 7PM. Instead of sleeping in to a normal time, I woke up without an alarm at 3AM. Looks like this is as close as I'm going to get to sleeping in on days off. haha
