August 14, 201214 yr comment_62053 So I started a new job as a Truck Driver's Helper at a Dunkin' Donuts distribution warehouse. My shift is kind of weird. I have to be in at 2:30AM and the days are usually 12 to 15 hours. Lots of lifting and dragging two-wheelers full of boxes and milk crates into stores and all that. I worked yesterday and was so happy I finally had a day off since starting. I then got back home, accidentally fell asleep at like 7PM. Instead of sleeping in to a normal time, I woke up without an alarm at 3AM. Looks like this is as close as I'm going to get to sleeping in on days off. haha Report
August 14, 201214 yr comment_62055 Welcome to the world of a schedule. I manage to sleep in a bit on the off days by not sleeping much during the week. For example, I've slept 8 hours total in the last two days. Lol, however that sucks. Good to have a job though. Report
August 14, 201214 yr comment_62067 You'll find that since you work a grave shift your whole life will revolve around those days off.I work 7p-7a and I do NOTHING on the days I work. I just sleep Report
August 14, 201214 yr Author comment_62068 That's what I do now basically. I get back from work anywhere from 2 to 5PM and I'm in bed by like 7PM latest. DAMN IT. Report
