I dislike Game X Change

Featured Replies

Game X Change really rips people off, out of curiosity, I asked how much they would buy a mint condition Guitar Hero 5 Guitar for, they said $22, a lousy $22. Now, if you buy one brand new at say like Wal-Mart, it costs $80, so they are only giving you a 4th of the full price you paid. That is ridiculous right?

They are a business, they need to make profit... Selling an item yourself almost always brings more money than trade ins.

The thing with guitar hero controllers, the demand for used ones isn't very high because many that are returned don't work right.

$22 is pretty good, gamestop would only give you maybe $16 if you were lucky. They all need to make a profit, you would probably make more selling it to a friend.

I don't think there really is much of a big market for guitar controllers used since there are soooooo many new ones out there that get marked down after another game comes out.

Yes, it's ridiculous...and people still do it all the time. I never heard of Game X, but those used games stores are all the same.
