This game made me rage pretty hard last night. It's really fun and has a good story. However I was raging over the quick time events. Missing one button shouldn't cause me to start a ten minute fight all over. Not to mention the sixaxis bs. Yeah I'm about 4 years late on this.

Graphically the PS3 is really starting to hit its stride and blow 360 out of the water. Though, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 really started that trend.

Just curious if anyone else picked this up. I just got it today and haven't even started it. Honestly, the first thing I noticed, and I have to say I'm curious how it went under the radar, is the online pass. I guess Sony is jumping on the bandwagon as well. Of course the game comes with one, but if you buy it used expect to drop another 10 bucks for the pass, including multiplayer. Shitty things aside, everything I've seen looks great. I'm really looking forward to getting into it. I'd start it tonight, but I don't have the time to put in it I want. So, I'm going to wait, and hopefully stream some tomorrow.

So, I've been playing a lot of Uncharted lately. This game is absolutely amazing. Story is pretty top notch, gameplay is very smooth and fluid, and the graphics are great as well. I've beaten the first one already, and I'm on the verge of beating the second one. Then it's off to multiplayer to get to level 60. I do have to warn you though, I'm pretty beast at multiplayer, ahem. Anyone else play and highly enjoy these 2 games?

So there's a $100 off coupon for the PS3 for Powerup Rewards members (which I am, it's the $15 a year, Game Informer/ Edge Card subscription), and you could get the 160GB model for $200, or the 320GB model for $250 after that discount. And according to Sony, PSN will be down for a few days. Sony is citing Anonymous as the culprit. While Anonymous is denying the claim, they did offer to allow access to PSN if you gave them your credit card information. I assume if hacking were the reason for the PSN servers being down, it has alot to do with the recently resolved GeoHot vs Sony jailbreaking court case. Honestly, I lol'd. I'm rooting for the little guy, even if that means shutting some of us out for a few days to accomplish it, whatever "it" may be. Sony revealed plans to release two new tablets at a press event in Tokyo today. The two new Android 3.0, currently codenamed the S1 and S2 will allow the systems to run certified PS1 titles and be 3G and 4G compatible depending on the model you buy. The S1 will also include infrared technology, which will allow the tablet to act as a remote for Sony Bravia devices. The S2 will have two 5.5 inch displays and both are set for a fall release. If not for the fact this was a Google product, I'd say we have another failed Sony handheld. But, this looks to be a decent enough addition to an already stellar product and app lineup.

Any PSN Plus members here snag the demo of Mortal Kombat yet? Any impressions? I've seen videos of the demo, but they show nothing new that we haven't seen elsewhere (other than the full fatalities for the 4 demo characters). I want this to be at least enjoyable since Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has reignited my desire to play fighting games.

.. yep .. the game lives up to the hype. I finally had enough cash saved up so I could get a game and I picked it up on Friday. I've spent most of the weekend playing it and it certainly is one of the PS3 top FPS. Really fast passed, really challenging and lots of fun to play. I haven't tried it with the MOVE yet but from what I've heard it's supposed to work pretty good. If you have a PS3 and like FPSs give this game a try .. might be a renter for some people .. I suck at it so I die a lot extending the time I'm playing it for, but I think the game is about 8-9 hours long. I also don't care about multiplayer so I can't really have an opinion on that.

So what do you guys think? I am considering getting one. I don't have a blu ray player yet. I am really interested in getting a chance to play certain games like God of War 3, Uncharted Series, and others that I can't get on Xbox 360. The exclusives are slimming down though. No point in having two systems that have identical games. I used to be all about the PS2 back in the day but I went Xbox for the last couple years for the online community. Just seeing if you all thing it is worth it. The $299 model looks like a good deal from what I can tell. Thanks for any replies. Vec
