Gearbox Software's loot-centric first-person shooter Borderlands recently got an update, one that added Steam achievements and new hardware support. That update also may have laid out, in extreme, spoiler-filled detail, the next downloadable expansion for Borderlands. According to contributors to Gearbox's online forums, that new Borderlands patch featured a folder chock full of potential details about the future of the game. Anyone finding it harder and harder to spend $60 or full price on some of these new titles coming out? Like, for example, Brink. It is fun and I think the game got a worse rap than it should of but still it is unpolished. My friend brought it over and we had a blast but $60 seems expensive for that game for what it is. Brink only had 8 maps and they all look nearly the same lol! Homefront was terrible. It seems like certain aspects of games are going backwards for me. Graphics and gameplay wise. Anyone else play Dragon's Dogma? I am loving the crap outta this game. I am actually having a really hard time tearing myself away from it to play B2. I really got sucked into it, and I can't put it down.

It literally just hit me like a brick in the face today. After today, I won't be able to play arguably my favorite online game of all time. Halo 2 probably means more to me then just a game because it brings back so many fond memories of HS, friends I don't see anymore, all the good times and LAN parties I had and by tomorrow the gaming world will not be able to play Halo 2 online anymore even though it was the #1 Xbox live game for 5 YEARS and the first game to dethrone it was Gears of War which was over 1 year into the 360's launch. Whatcha think? I think it looks really good, and interesting. Treyarch hasn't had a nice track record with fans though. Since Infinity Ward has pretty much disbanded. It's up to them to make a decent Call Of Duty.
