There are definitely a lot of rebels on the internet lately, who are very resistant to the things they do. Spiteful b astards.

<br> <br> <br> The spacecraft was a long way from home. <br> <br> I thought it would be a good idea, just after Saturn, to have them take one last glance homeward. From Saturn, the Earth would appear too small for Voyager to make out any detail. Our planet would be just a point of light, a lonely pixel hardly distinguishable from the other points of light Voyager would see: nearby planets, far off suns. But precisely because of the obscurity of our world thus revealed, such a picture might be worth having. <br> <br> It had been well understood by the scientists and philosophers of classical antiquity that the Earth was a mere poin…

It's both. http://www.mymodernm...ic-acrylic-body Alexa Meade thinks completely backwards. Most artists use acrylic paints to create portraits of people on canvas. But not Meade - she applies acrylic paints on her subjects and makes them appear to be a part of the painting! Meade is an installation artist based in the Washington, DC area. Her innovative use of paint on the three dimensional surfaces of found objects, live models, and architectural spaces has been incorporated into a series of installations that create a perceptual shift in how we experience and interpret spatial relationships. I was lucky enough to catch up with Meade and ask her about her thought proc…

Frak, I still can't embed stuff properly... Ugh! Check out the link: http://www.geekologie.com/2010/04/not_cool_doll_with_functional.php

So CS5 comes out tomorrow! I'll definitely be downloading the trial versions if they go up, but don't know if I want to drop a couple hundred dollars on one program. I'll see if I can get a student discount, but I doubt it Anyone else looking foward to it?

Ok. Per TC's suggestion, I am making a poll for you guys to see what you think. As you know I had neck surgery, I now have a perrty new scar on my neck. Shane and I had be joking around about me getting a tattoo over it. Like a rose vine up the scar, and then a rose bud. (DUH! What did you think I'd suggest?? lol) We even joked about doing a tattoo'd scar. So What do ya'll think?? EDIT: OOPS!! Just realized I forgot to post the pic. Lol, go me!! Here it is...

So, the steristrips finally came off yesterday. It looks alot better than I thought it would. Now I have scars on both sides of my neck. One straight, and one (the new one) sorta diagonal (sp??). Was gonna include a pic of me in the neck brace, but I looked awful.

I'm in a sociology class this semester that's primary focus is HIV/AIDS and other modern plagues. The class is beyond fascinating, and so far has been a real eye opener. It's obviously, a very emotionally charged class as well. Today we had a very heated discussion about a topic my Professor brought up, I am going to ask the question of you all and see what you all think. If a person who is HIV/AIDS positive KNOWINGLY infects another person in CONSENSUAL sex (i.e they lied about their status) should they be prosecuted because of it? I'm curious to see if the general idea and response to this question is the same, or if it varies.

Okay, this may or may not be just a thinly veiled post so I can show off my new system that most of you guys know I just picked up. Anyhoo, here goes. Kinda hard to see in the lighting, but this photo consists of an Insignia 55" LCD 1080p TV, Xbox 360 Elite, PS 3, hi def DTV/DVR satellite box, a Denon AVR 1910 receiver, Klipsch RPW-10 subwoofer, and a set of B&W DM 570 main speakers. The speakers are a little dated, but anyone familiar with B&W products will know that they produce awesome speakers. These are on plant shelves above and behind me where I sit in my living room. The wire on the one speaker only shows for the couple of feet you can see in the pic. …

Gizmodo This man gives a detailed story of his experience in flying a spy mission of Libya and how he outran missiles and flew at over 2,200 miles per hour.

I know we have some fans of Chrono Trigger here, so I figured I'd pass this link along to them: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SQ80963 Square is finally giving you guys some quality figures it seems. Go forth and pre-order.

So yeah, I still think Twitter is lame, but I've made an account (hypocrite), mostly so I can get more points for the Bioware Bazaar Auction going on, but I'll also use it to follow some stuff like my favorite fansubbing sites (like Taka Fansubs). And the Bioware Bazaar Auction is freaking insane, how do they expect anyone to win anything? The top bid on everything seems to be literally over 9000 points, and I have only about 6000. And that's just stuff like an N7 Hoodie. No way in hell I'd be able to bid for the Laptop or PC. I'll be lucky if I can get a away with just a cool shirt or postcard. The hoodie did look sweet, just like the avatar's N7 hoodie. So anyone who ha…

Not making a big huge list this time. Since I got the new laptop, I don't have my others installed yet. Instead, I'm going to share one new one I found. Covers over 100 retailers in the US, UK and Germany.

I'm really curious to check this out since I just got an Android phone. There is an app for Voice on Android and being the Google fanboy that I am I'd love to give it a try. It's hard to find invites though. Thanks. And even if you don't have an invite, and you use it, feel free to tell me your thoughts on it.

Check it out. Pretty gory. Fair warning. This is going viral fast too.

He came cheap too...A #2 this coming sunday and a 3 or 4 next year. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5055346&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines PHILADELPHIA -- Donovan McNabb is changing uniforms and staying in the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles traded McNabb to the Washington Redskins for a pair of draft picks on Sunday night. The Eagles will receive a second-round pick (37th overall) in this month's NFL draft and either a third- or fourth-round pick next year. "I'm really excited about my future with the Washington Redskins," McNabb said in a statement Sunday night. "I'm eager to work with Coach [Mike] Shanahan. He's been a very successful coach wit…

Pics of the truck Okay so she decided not to let me drive it til I have enough money for it. And to be honest I had no interest in buying it at all until I saw it finally today. That thing is easily worth at least $3,000 if its in bad shape, and they only want $800.00 for it!?!? That is in phenomenal shape! Well after I bought my new wallet yesterday (refer to this link for an image of my new amazing wallet!) I only need $775 left til I can buy it. Hey its only $25 that I have right now but hopefully I can get a week job too. It's only 2 wheel drive but I could care less about that right now. Rebuilt engine with less than 100 miles on it. I'm so excited. I thought it was …

6.9 Earthquake near Mexicali ! ...It was shakin' and shakin'.....Wow!

Since Pogre has the same laptop as me now, we need to take a vote.

Since my Brad and Sajam are so cool, they decided to send me a whole bunch of ****. They are pretty awesome. Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse Percy Jackson: The Battle of the Labyrinth Percy Jackson: The Last Olympian The Saboteur From Sajam: Mushroom Necklace Brad also sent me a bag of Taki's, but I ate them. I received these fine gifts around a month ago, but never had a camera to take a picture of them. Now...just waiting for some more gifts from a certain someone.
