Ok, so you went off the beaten path, be sure to post it here.

  1. You qualify if you were a Comcast customer who used "the Ares, BitTorrent, eDonkey, FastTrack, or Gnutella P2P protocols at any time from April 1, 2006 to December 31, 2008" and/or used "Lotus Notes to send emails any time from March 26, 2007 to October 3, 2007." (Some Notes traffic was apparently blocked inadvertently by Comcast's system.) In order to qualify for the cash, you need to sign up at the official settlement website and provide your Comcast account number. Read on for more information [source Ars Technica]

Halo 2's multiplayer for Xbox LIVE is dead. Thanks to Halo 2, I've been a happy Xbox LIVE member since 2004. Rest in peace buddy, we had a hell of a lot of memories.

It's both. http://www.mymodernm...ic-acrylic-body Alexa Meade thinks completely backwards. Most artists use acrylic paints to create portraits of people on canvas. But not Meade - she applies acrylic paints on her subjects and makes them appear to be a part of the painting! Meade is an installation artist based in the Washington, DC area. Her innovative use of paint on the three dimensional surfaces of found objects, live models, and architectural spaces has been incorporated into a series of installations that create a perceptual shift in how we experience and interpret spatial relationships. I was lucky enough to catch up with Meade and ask her about her thought proc…

The spacecraft was a long way from home.

I thought it would be a good idea, just after Saturn, to have them take one last glance homeward. From Saturn, the Earth would appear too small for Voyager to make out any detail. Our planet would be just a point of light, a lonely pixel hardly distinguishable from the other points of light Voyager would see: nearby planets, far off suns. But precisely because of the obscurity of our world thus revealed, such a picture might be worth having.

It had been well understood by the scientists and philosophers of classical antiquity that the Earth was a mere poin…

So CS5 comes out tomorrow! I'll definitely be downloading the trial versions if they go up, but don't know if I want to drop a couple hundred dollars on one program. I'll see if I can get a student discount, but I doubt it Anyone else looking foward to it?

Ok. Per TC's suggestion, I am making a poll for you guys to see what you think. As you know I had neck surgery, I now have a perrty new scar on my neck. Shane and I had be joking around about me getting a tattoo over it. Like a rose vine up the scar, and then a rose bud. (DUH! What did you think I'd suggest?? lol) We even joked about doing a tattoo'd scar. So What do ya'll think?? EDIT: OOPS!! Just realized I forgot to post the pic. Lol, go me!! Here it is...

I'm in a sociology class this semester that's primary focus is HIV/AIDS and other modern plagues. The class is beyond fascinating, and so far has been a real eye opener. It's obviously, a very emotionally charged class as well. Today we had a very heated discussion about a topic my Professor brought up, I am going to ask the question of you all and see what you all think. If a person who is HIV/AIDS positive KNOWINGLY infects another person in CONSENSUAL sex (i.e they lied about their status) should they be prosecuted because of it? I'm curious to see if the general idea and response to this question is the same, or if it varies.

So, the steristrips finally came off yesterday. It looks alot better than I thought it would. Now I have scars on both sides of my neck. One straight, and one (the new one) sorta diagonal (sp??). Was gonna include a pic of me in the neck brace, but I looked awful.

  20. So yeah, I still think Twitter is lame, but I've made an account (hypocrite), mostly so I can get more points for the Bioware Bazaar Auction going on, but I'll also use it to follow some stuff like my favorite fansubbing sites (like Taka Fansubs). And the Bioware Bazaar Auction is freaking insane, how do they expect anyone to win anything? The top bid on everything seems to be literally over 9000 points, and I have only about 6000. And that's just stuff like an N7 Hoodie. No way in hell I'd be able to bid for the Laptop or PC. I'll be lucky if I can get a away with just a cool shirt or postcard. The hoodie did look sweet, just like the avatar's N7 hoodie. So anyone who ha…

I'm really curious to check this out since I just got an Android phone. There is an app for Voice on Android and being the Google fanboy that I am I'd love to give it a try. It's hard to find invites though. Thanks. And even if you don't have an invite, and you use it, feel free to tell me your thoughts on it.

Since my Brad and Sajam are so cool, they decided to send me a whole bunch of ****. They are pretty awesome. Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse Percy Jackson: The Battle of the Labyrinth Percy Jackson: The Last Olympian The Saboteur From Sajam: Mushroom Necklace Brad also sent me a bag of Taki's, but I ate them. I received these fine gifts around a month ago, but never had a camera to take a picture of them. Now...just waiting for some more gifts from a certain someone.

Why is it so many people don't know how to carry a conversation? You go on a date, and you ask questions to figure out how to converse they answer and that's it. They don't add nothing to it. It's so freaking annoying. I can understand if someone is shy or if someone isn't digging such person or doesn't like the person. Not the case. Seriously the last thing I want to do is sit through something and come up with questions and things to talk about. Here let me give you an example. I'll make up some answers. So where do you work? I'm a nurse. Um alright do you like it? Yea. So have you always lived here? Yea. THE WHOLE ******* NIGHT. I mean come on I'm not trying to be a **…
