While the PS3 hasn't been plagued by RROD levels of system failures, it is still vulnerable to its own share of problems, most notably the "yellow light of death." Should your system experience an irrecoverable crash after Sony's official one-year warranty, there isn't much you can do except send the system to Sony for repair -- a process that carries a hefty price tag of $150, plus shipping costs. Sony has announced an alternative solution: the PlayStation Protection Plan, which allows new PS3 and PSP owners currently covered by the standard warranty to purchase additional coverage. According to SCEA's VP of operations, Glenn Nash, the PlayStation Protection Plan was cre…

Hey All, Some great sales going on at sony store this week. Rockstar Games Sale Great prices on some of those games if you have never played them or want to run them again. (Red Dead, Max Payne...) There are some other games on sale but I found this little gem tucked away on the list: Demon Souls (could not link to it for some reason). It is only $10.99 right now! I have never played it so this might be a good chance to grab it.

PS4: Transistor Apotheon PS3: Yakuza 4 Thief PS Vita: Rogue Legacy (Cross-Buy, also downloadable on PS3 and PS4!) Kirk & Fennick

As some of you may or may not know I am a big fan of Metal gear solid/Hideo Kojima Games. Recently there has been rumors of either Kojima being fired or of him leaving partnership with Konami. Sadly to say it is true. They both were working on Silent Hill 9 which had got canceled because Kojima plays a big role in all of this. And so does Reedus from "The Walking Dead" series who was starring the lead character role but left after Kojima did. Also, after this was aired Konami had erased all Kojima productions that had to with SH. Sad day for some silent hill fans. I can't believe this is happening because I haven't played a SH game since ps2 . Come to think of it they are…

http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2016/10/playstation-vr-review-this-is-the-vr-system-you-actually-want/ So I know that Kotaku and Gizmodo are kind of at odds about this, but considering the investment I still have my preorder and can't wait. The potential is there and so much cool stuff has been announced. I am pretty excited about a few games coming out for this and it will be fun to show off in my house and play with friends.

Gamercide Review Not sure if everyone saw this or not. I must say thus far, this is my game of the year winner by far. Anybody else play through it?

So, Playstation move released on this past Friday. I was searching around and ran across this: 2 issues I have: How is it selling "used"? How is there a price drop of $2 already?

I still think it's B.S. to be able to stream a true 5.1 sound but it does seem like they are ramping up the service to compete with things like Xbox360, Apple TV, Roku, and Boxee. Here's the link on Joystiq. LINK

Recently got a PS3, so here's my PSN for those who'd like to add me. (SegaCKY) obviously

Many have reported bricked ps3's after the recent 4.45 update. Most are 750 gb and 1tb self installed hard drive systems, but better to wait for sony's ok first. If you have ps+ make sure you turn off auto update.

If you've ever played Arkham city.....you've played this. Granted its a new story but still

I was not overly impressed with the first two games in the series. Mainly because the battle system does everything for you. The games basically just ran themselves. I tried the demo for this game and wow was I impressed! The battle system is actually fun now. Completely redone. I like how you can switch outfits with allow different powers to be used instantly. Each suit has its own ATB gauge so you can't just spam the same attack. I love the look of the different outfits Lightning can get. I am now interested in this game!

Sweet baby Jesus.... this is some amazeballs news!!!! I'm super stoked. Codenamed Project Morpheus, Sony has unveiled their custom VR headset specifically for the PS4. Features include full 1080p display with 90 degree field of view, 1000hz display, full 360 degree movement and "supports forward prediction". At the unveiling, Sony showed off a video of some VR God of War. Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida was quoted as saying "When I looked down, I saw my body was that of Kratos. That was an empowering experience." EVE Valkyrie is reportedly playable on the current dev kit, as well as a bunch of other announced games. More info and impressions will be available lat…

Looks amazing hope it comes to Xbox. http://youtu.be/tAgKg72TYG0

Anyone looking into maybe playing this? I have it on pre-order. Gamespot only gave it a 6, but it got 4 stars on Joystiq and a "Yes" on Kotaku. I'm still interested in playing it myself.

So what does everyone think about this seriously being released and it's not even the full game. Fuck, it's a fighting game WITH NO ARCADE MODE AT LAUNCH! Who DOES that!? (Oh yeah, Capcom..... smh) Anyways, I know it's a work in progress and they plan on releasing constant updates to avoid having multiple full price releases (Super Mega Ultimate Street Fighter V: Gonzo Megazord IN YO FACE Edition), but that doesn't excuse this clearly "alpha" release.
