Along with four multiplayer maps, the next piece of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops is adding Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Freddy Krueger. Developer Treyarch has released the first details of "Call of the Dead," the Zombies campaign included with the first person shooter's Escalation map pack, out May 3. The campaign -- inspired by director George Romero -- will star Machete actor Danny Trejo, Buffy actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund of Nightmare on Elm Street fame and Michael Rooker of The Walking Dead TV series. According to a description on the video's YouTube page, "Call of the Dead" is set "in a mysterious, ice-covered, remote Siberian island." Source - [U…

Just read in gameinformer that XCOM is being re-done. It will be called XCOM Enemy Unknown and should be out this fall this will be like the origianl with real time and turn based playing. Freaking Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess there is a first person shooter in the works as well from 2k that was supposed to be out last year but has been delayed. I would much rather have an update of the original.

Since there is not a topic on this I decided to make one. So anyone getting this? I actually really enjoyed the first one called War for Cybertron which was the first Transformers game that was actually decent. They really nailed the Transformations and characters. Plus this series of games is not based off the Bay movies which pretty much destroyed everything I loved about Transformers. Completely DESTROYED! See I am partial to the G1 stuff because I grew up with it. One of my favorite cartoons as a kid and I loved all the toys so naturally I would be a sucker for a Transformers game that pays homage to G1 and actually does the characters mostly right. The multiplayer wa…

Yea, like the title says, I wanna be scared. And not just jumpy scared, I mean, OH-MY-GOD-WHAT-THE-****-WAS-THAT scared, or psychological thrillers. Any suggestions? 360 or OBOX are fine. So far I'm looking at Condemned 1 and 2, Alan Wake (more of a psychological thriller I've heard), and Dead Space. Anyone have any suggestions?

Last week we polled members of The Elder Council on what race/player type they’d like to see next. In a runaway vote, the majority of folks wanted to see a Dunmer thief, and above is the awesome screen the team put together. Argonian fans… fear not. Your day will soon come! Source - BethBlog Looks like he's part of the Dark Brotherhood, that was announced would be in Skyrim. Maybe I'll get this now. Love me some Dunmer and Dark brotherhood.

I couldn't find the red dead thread, I swore it was in the 360 section, but I can't find it. Anyways, looks like it's going to be us. Nobody over at the xbox community responded. We can still play some public games though and have a full game that way.

You’ll never have to stop questing in the upcoming open-world role-playing game, to be released November 11 for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3. Skyrim director Todd Howard told Wired.com in a phone interview Monday that the game will feature a never-ending stream of procedurally generated content, giving players an infinite number of things to do. “The vibe of the game is that it’s something that you can play forever,” Howard said. Picked it up yesterday and..... IT..... IS......EPIC!!! Brings back so many memories of long sleepless nights playing the old original PC version. Really great game so far and I'm eager to check out the multiplayer too if anyone else picks it up. Seriously though. Great fucking game. I'm glad Firaxis picked it up, their experience with the Civ series definitely helped them to nail the classic feel of XCOM and yet bring it mainstream. Can't wait to go home and play more! Right now my main 6 person squad consists of: Leeroy Jenkins - Heavy class (charges in the with big guns right off the bat, figured Leeory was a good fit lol) Chuck Norris - Sniper class (eh, he became…

Ok all as my tradition goes I will try to do these for games that I pickup day one. I have been watching this game for the last couple of months. It sort of came out of nowhere from a game that I was not really interested in to a day one purchase. The more videos and screens I saw the more I wanted the game. I love single player RPGs. I also love games that give me choices as much as possible that also have ramifications on the rest of the characters or world. Choices on how to handle a situation, where to go next, who lives, who dies and different ways of handling situations none of which are wrong. I think it adds replay-ability. You go through again to see how differen…

Just got this from Gamefly this past Friday and have sank about 9 hours into it so far. Interesting game. It's definitely not a AAA title for sure. The graphics aren't spectacular (lots of jagged edges on textures in some places) and I dislike next-gen RPGs that can't be bothered to have voice-acted lines for people (sucks to read text-boxes all the time). It's hard to describe really. It's definitely a tactical RPG of sorts and KIND of turn-based. You have three characters in your party and the combat sequences are all about shooting your guns and jumping around and stuff. The combat is TOUGH though. Not all of it is, but sometimes a simple fight can turn into an…
