First off, if you attended the Borderlands 2 panel at PAX this year, you received a code for the game when it comes out. Absolutely free. Well with Skyrim and other games you all are probably not going to get this one right away. I however picked it up tonight! I just could not resist. I was reading some of the reviews and they were saying it was the most fun they have had in along time. Some of the complaints were funny though. Like the game not looking as good graphics wise as they thought it would or the city not feeling as alive as it could. I got to say everything in first impression of the game seems improved over SR2. To me SR2 had a muddy look to it at times and the color pallet seemed less saturated or something. SR3 seems much better to me. The colors are punched up and the graphics are better. So…

I figured I should contain my own anxiety for this game in one thread rather than every thread across the board. So let's use this thread to discuss anything and everything Halo: Reach! First off, Armor Lock looks like the most useful loadout right now. I see myself using this one the most and then maybe Invisibility. But I'll definitely be trying all the loadouts once the beta arrives on May 3rd.

So, I'm looking into getting a new Xbox 360, especially with taxes rolling in soon...I was wondering if you guys had any advice on which one to get. The best deal for me looks to be the Slim 250 GB for around $300...I was wondering if any of you who have the slim model would vote for or against it. Otherwise, I could get a refurbished or used Elite for a good price most likely. Also, I'm probably going to only get one game at first, looking for a good one with a lot of replay value, and hopefully one that a lot of you here have. What would you suggest? Halo Reach? Black Ops? Thanks a lot for any input!

Looks like the new Dashboard update is scheduled to hit for everyone on tomorrow (November 1st). This one brings all the Kinect updates, updated Avatars (Hopefully they have fixed the broken clothes, costumes, props, etc.), ESPN3 support (with a participating ISP), Netflix updates (Including search), and more. Those of us who have had the preview have liked everything added for the most part. At least the people I've talked to.

Just bought this from Gamefly for $8.63 and free shipping. Should have it in about a week. Good buy? I remember renting it when it first came out but there were a lot of other games out at the time and I never really got around to playing it much. I think I only played about an hour's worth. So, what do you think? Was it a good game?

I know there are probably some mixed feelings on this, but I think it's a sexy beast. I have an Elite and a little stack of games I could trade and maybe get this bad boy relatively cheap. I don't mind trading my stuff in. This is what I've done every time they come out with the next gen consoles. Now I know this isn't really "next gen", but it looks like it might be a while before there is one. What say you guys? Go for it?

Let me say this game blows in my opinion. I have been waiting for this game so that my husband and I can play it and it freaking sucks....SUCKS. That is all.

So, since the game is due out in May, I figured this would be a good time to start a thread on this game. I for one have been waiting for it since it was announced as a Vista game, so my anticipation has deteriorated and been revitalized with the more recent showings of the game. I am a huge fan of psychological thrillers, and this game carries the pedigree of Remedy (Team behind Max Payne 1 & 2), so I'm expecting a top-notch story to go with the scare factor. Do missions repeat themselves? I did a mission to find some parts of a sniper rifle, thinking I'm going to get some sweet gear. Found all the parts and got a rifle but it wasn't all that great so I fenced it. Then the little robot was like HEY NEW MISSIONS AT FYRESTONE GOOO' so I ran all the way back to Fyrestone and the only mission was.. the same mission again. This is disheartening for a completionist, such as myself. So do missions randomize and repeat infinitely?

Without any spoilers, post what your favorite weapon in the game is so far. I try to remain as stealthy as possible, so I've been mostly using my tranq rifle and silent sniper. However, I have lately taken a liking to throwing refrigerators. haha I wouldn't advise using that tactic in a stealthy environment, but it's fun to do if you're not being serious. Also, if you can find a crossbow, you can stick your enemy to walls with it, and retrieve your ammo to use again. I didn't know that until a minute ago, and now I want one badly.
