All the ergonomic challenges of sitting at a mass-produced desk should disappear when you settle into the custom-built Emperor 200 -- or at least they better for $45,000. Each scorpion-shaped workstation is hand-built to customer specifications with three monitors, touchscreen control panel, air filtration system, light therapy illumination, and electric powered leather seat. Upon sitting in the Emperor 200, users tap on the touchscreen to lower the monitors and nestle themselves into a computing bubble worthy of a Bond villain. Because each workstation is built to order, MWE labs can customize each installation to handle different computing platforms, even adding periphe…

So I finally caved in and ordered a set of wireless Astro A40s, which includes the Astro Wireless Mixamp 5.8 and the Astro A40 headset. The only real difference between it and the newest model, wireless Astro A50s, is that the wireless components are built into the headset of the A50s (the headset itself is the same funcionally and quality-wise), so the A40s are better off in the long run. With the mixamp I can make any stereo headset wireless (plugged into a little transmitter you can pocket or clip on a belt) and surround sound (virtual surround sound from the mixamp; from what I gather the surround sound works on stereo headsets because it involves different tones an…

So I'm looking into maybe eventually getting a capture device to let me stream from my Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, but don't know much about them. I was told this (http://www.amazon.co...06604332&sr=8-1) was good for the price, but after looking at some user reviews and such they say it can lower the video quality you actually see in your game, and it only captures at 480p. Does anyone know of any other good capture cards? If it's a cheaper one that's still good I can get it fairly soon, if not it would be something I look into later if I want to get a higher end one for better quality.

Why pay for expensive rhinoplasty when you can vibrate your nose to new levels!? Continuing the trend of asian good vibrations, allow me to show you the newest Japanese invention to "help" fix your nose. THE "BEAUTY LIFT HIGH NOSE"!!! For just $144 (available from Japan Trend Shop and even Amazon) and three minutes a day, you too can look just as ridiculous as this woman. Wow. LoL Maybe it might help shake some nasty boogers out though. Also, looking at that Japan Trend Shop site can be scary. Some weeeiiiirrrd stuff is over there. Although they DO have something that seems like it might be worthwhile after a night of Taco Bell, or maybe a triple Baconator or two.…

So, I know some others have them, and I wanted to see who else did. I just ordered my first one, aside from the stuff I used in my younger years. There's so many more options out there than there was, but it took me forever to decide which I wanted due to the price premium. Might want to read this article before you read much more if you don't know much about mechanical keyboards. I'm currently using this keyboard: http://steelseries.com/products/keyboards/steelseries-merc-stealth It's a good keyboard, but I'm tired of having the shared usage space of the home, pg up, pg dwn, etc keys with the numpad. It doesn't seem inconvenient at first, but after having to press the…

Not necessarily a product review from myself, but I wanted to say that this thing is seriously AWESOME. Very well made, looks pretty great and super sturdy with an absolute TON of space to put things in and hold stuff! http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/aaa5/ I picked one of these up because they were half off last week, and it is so worth it. Fits my laptop perfectly with plenty of space to spare. Even can lug around my PS4, two controllers, cables, and a bunch of games with extra room also. If you're looking for a pretty great messenger bag, even just something to pack stuff to travel with, I would recommend this highly. Two panda thumbs up.

I'm pretty sure my kids got a virus from Facebook on the pc. Shanes cousin gave us the computer cuz the old one broke down. We'd only had it a short time, and I didn't realize there wasn't any damn virus protection on it until it was too late. Now it just sits on the windows xp screen, and it won't go to the password page. Is there anyway I can force it to load up? I can clean it out, once I get it to load up (I think..). .

After seeing this video I have decided that WP7 is my next phone: That is HOT! It's a Zune + XBLA launchpad + HOTNESS! There's a reason I love my Zune and yet hate my Android.. because my Android has shatty games! I'm a gamer and I need a gamer's phone. Come to pappy! Looking forward to Oct when I can pick this up. Also after watching this, I noticed it's funny that the interviewer mentioned Games for Windows Live and the dude is like "What's that? Oh, you must mean Xbox Live for PC". LOL did they rebrand the name? Is the Xbox brand more eyecatching than Windows? Yeesh. Way to go Xbox!

Well, I've been following XCM since I first bought my Xbox 360 and wished I could use a mouse and keyboard with it. They have finally released a version of their hardware that I am very interested in. http://www.totalconsole.com/servlet/the-1063/XFPS-5.0-for-PS3/Detail http://www.xcm.cc/xfps_5.0.htm The old versions were hardware based only and you had to take the time to individually map the keys one at a time. The latest one connects directly to a PC or laptop and uses their keyboard/mouse . All the keys are mappable in software which makes switching between games MUCH easier. I just ordered it today, and I'm hoping it will arrive sometime next week. I'll let yo…

So, I think I've discussed it before, but here it is again. Nvidia G-Sync DIY kits are finally available. So you can buy an Asus VG248QE monitor, and install the kit yourself. Currently would make the total cost around $472. Overlord Computers is selling them for 489.99 plus shipping. So, not a whole lot of savings for DIY. Here's a summary of what it does: NVIDIA G-SYNC is groundbreaking new display technology that delivers the smoothest and fastest gaming experience ever. G-SYNC’s revolutionary performance is achieved by synchronizing display refresh rates to the GPU in your GeForce GTX-powered PC, eliminating screen tearing and minimizing display stutter and in…

If you are an owner of a new multicore Intel CPU for example Intel core I7 and Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 OS, you already might notice that some of the cores in your resource monitor are marked as parked. This is a new feature of windows 7/2008 operating system that is made to balance energy consumption by your CPU. So let’s say if you are performing some tasks that do not consume a lot of CPU power, all the cores that are parked will remain in that state. However, if you are running something that requires a lot of CPU power, all the cores, which were previously parked, will be placed in the active state (unparked) to perform the task. And after it’s done, they wil…

Hi everyone! I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this yet! Or perhaps nobody cares *cough* sedington *cough*? Anyway, I'm eligible for an upgrade and to sum it up in very few words (because I deleted a couple paragraphs already), I have a choice between the Droid X and Verizon iPhone. I'm sure I'll be happy with whichever one I choose, but I wanted some opinions. Below are some comparisons that will make it or break it for me, but it's a give and take, and these are not ALL differences just the main ones. Kay GO! - Both take clear pics (8MP for Droid compared to iPhone's 5MP, but the iPhone's images come out more fine) and record 720p video. - Both are fast, but the…

So i've never been big into smart phones but alot of my friends have been showing me their new smart phones and now i want one. So i ordered the Droid Incredible from verizon and it should be here in about a week. I have a few questions and could use some help please. 1. anyone with a touchscreen what's a good screen protector? I just want one that feels like there's no protector on there, with a decent price, and it'd be nice to get some decent use out of each one. 2. anyone with a android phone. what are some apps/widgets you can't live without or recommend? 3. what are some must have games? 4. anyone have a recommendation for a case? i want either a hard case or a lea…

So, I'm tired of my A40s . They are a decent headset, but they seem to have developed a crackle. It's not really a blown speaker, but something I can't place. Plus they just aren't up to the sound quality that my HD595s were, and I miss them. So, before they disappear I went ahead and ordered the PC360 from Sennheiser to replace them. They are suppose to have the same cans as my 595s and a very similar fit. I am getting them Thursday, and I'll put them to the test then. Pricey, but so were the A40s and they never lived up to my expectations. The mixamp is fantastic, and I'll continue to use it with the PC360s. http://en-us.sennheiser.com/gamer-headset-hifi-soun…

For what it’s worth, I strongly recommend that our readers look elsewhere when shopping for personal audio systems. Other major competitors offer similar solutions with large support teams who will actually troubleshoot a problem with customers. If you don’t care about support and if you want to roll the dice and hope you never have to contact them, by all means, purchase an Astro Gaming product. The technology, and the sound that their wireless mixamp produces, is fantastic. However, if you value quality technical support and anticipate needing help from the company somewhere down the line, look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration. Read the rest at the link below ht…
