Movies and TV

Really good series starring Tim Roth. It's on Netflix too. Anyone ever seen it? The show was cancelled after 2 seasons I think, but I really like it.

Saw this today. I liked the plot and effects but i honestly feel this movie missed out. This could have been so much more.

Yo, holla at ya boys who be watchin that anime. So for starters I'm gonna be posting up anime's you should be watching right now. SWORD ART ONLINE This anime is about some Japanese teens who get stuck inside a video game. Kind of like .//hack So the main dude, emo jacket is this kid, he's super talented. Better than everyone. Generic hero setup. But this anime isn't so much about fighting as it is about the relationships between characters. Out of the first 4 episodes, there are like, only 2 fight scenes. It's mostly just dialogue. For a little while he's kind of the generic angsty teen, but he gets over it fast and picks up the show. The main downside is the s…

Watched today and although it's a bit grim, I do love the message behind it. This message for example. The writing, the acting and the actor, all perfect. Wish he had won an award for it.

Adultswim and Dan Harmon made it possible last night to watch the first episode of season 3 last night. They played it on loop on the Adultswim website. It was glorious! If you did miss it - https://vid.me/JBhQ Enjoy!

Saw two of my friends watching this at the same time, and decided to give it a try. I'm hooked. Quirky, silly and even funny. My kind of show. Anyone else watch it? It's on Netflix.

Read the full story here. Thoughts? With Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci, it may not be too bad.

So this guy/director is completely clueless. I just read an interview with him and I'm appalled. Check out what he says about Drake. "...a crime family that metes out justice in the world of art and antiquities. If you're the head of a museum, or head of state, you've got to deal with them, and they're badass. They're like the Sopranos in some ways, but they have great taste, and they have a sense of justice." Really!? "A crime family that metes out justice"?!? Drake and family are somehow "like the Sopranos"? There is TRULY not enough facepalm in the universe to describe my feelings on this. This is going to fail on levels of fail not yet experienced in this lifet…

Starz has announced that it will not renew its contract with Netflix to provide content from its Starz and Encore brands. Netflix shares were down 10% on news of the cancellation. Starz Entertainment said that it has ended contract renewal negotiations with Netflix and when their current contract is up in February of 2012, it will cease to distribute its content on the Netflix platfrom. Starz says that it is doing this to ‘protect the premium nature’ of its brand by preserving the pricing and packaging of its content. In other words, Starz wanted more money and didn’t want to devalue its brand in the eyes of other potential straming services like Hulu. Keep up on this sto…

Doesn't have to be on tv...could be Netflix, Hulu, miniseries, whatever. Mine are: Breaking Bad Game of Thrones Buffy the Vampire Slayer Spartacus Band of Brothers Family Guy King of the Hill The Vampire Diaries Disappeared - It's a show on ID that chronicles people who literally disappeared without a trace. Transformers Prime - I have two boys. It kind of grew on me.

Anyone see the new x men. I bought a bootleg DVD. Not bad. Not super in my opnion

So has anyone seen it yet. I went last Saturday
