I don't think there is NEARLY enough facepalm in the world for this one. http://www.asylum.co.uk/2011/03/01/boy-accidentally-shoots-his-mother-after-dad--shoots-himself/ "The double shooting blunder happened in Alabama recently, as the father, Allen Jones, was retrieving his trusty Glock .40 handgun from the glove box in his truck. As he walked back to his house, he tripped and fell, causing the gun to discharge and accidentally shoot him in the leg, just above his knee. Because his wife Aleisha was upstairs bathing, it was his young son who was the first on the scene. And by the time Aleisha had made it downstairs the little lad was holding the weapon. When she the…

WICHITA, Kan., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Police in Kansas said a man was arrested on a charge of patronizing a prostitute after he called police to complain about an escort service. Wichita police said they responded to a call from a hotel room shortly before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. A 26-year-old man, whose name was not released, told them he placed an order with an online escort service and neither of the two women who showed up to his room were the woman he requested, The Wichita Eagle reported Friday. The man said he paid the women $160 but soon changed his mind and asked for his money back. He called police when the women told him they don't give refunds and left the hotel. Polic…

Imagine waking up, showering and then spraying on your clothes. Sipping your morning coffee, while your newly sprayed on clothes are drying onto you. What I find most fascinating about it all is, it's reusable. Once it's applied, it can be removed, washed and worn again. http://www.fabricanltd.com/ Still want my hover board. Get to work, you so called "scientists".

Fashion food To make it happen, farmers grew the melons in glass boxes and the fruit then naturally assumed the same shape. Today the cuboid watermelons are hand-picked and shipped all over Japan. But the fruit, on sale in a selection of department stores and upmarket supermarkets, appeals mainly to the wealthy and fashion-conscious of Tokyo and Osaka, Japan's two major cities. Each melon sells for 10,000 yen, equivalent to about $83. It is almost double, or even triple, that of a normal watermelon.

Holy. Mother. Of. God. This is exactly the sort of stuff I want to start seeing from VR. For the record, I already have my PSVR kit pre-ordered for October. Pretty much Star Trek: Bridge Crew will put 1-4 players on the bridge of a starship. Players will assume the rolls of Captain, Engineering Officer, Helm Officer and Tactical Officer (as far as I can tell so far). What makes this extra cool to me in the idea that it would feel more immersive is you're sitting on the bridge. The brain would be able to work with that much better than say a game that has you moving around. So couch sitting for this is perfect. More info on this to be announced at Ubi…

So yeah, I'm a noob. I'm still learning build orders and whatnot. I usually play as the Protoss online, but I've been wanting to try out the Terrans. So I load up SinglePlayer and proceed to make a 1v1 match against a Medium AI. I'm playing along, doing my thing, learning and s.hit. I build a bunch of Marines and Marauders and send them out scouting. I find his base. I attack. I blow up three or four of his structures. And then my mind is blown. I see on the screen, in the chat panel.... and it says: Player 2: [ALL] gg Player 2 wants to surrender I hadn't even killed the AI yet. I blew up a couple structures and the AI, in the CHAT channel, said "gg", which is short …

... and I gotta say I've gotten quite fond of building these things. They basically come in pieces on plastic trays you have to cut out every piece, sand them on the left-over nubs and polish them a little bit. These kits I built have some amazing flexibility, figure a human being flexibility, and would probably contain 200-250 pieces each. Sorry for some of the average quality picture, camera is a bit old and not the best.

Awww yeah, four horsemen of the apocalypse. Been wanting this for awhile also. My guy was able to get pretty much all of the line work done yesterday but considering the detail it took a few hours. Going to go back in a couple weeks to start work on shading and full color but it's probably going to take at least a couple more sessions when everything is all said and done. Woot!

So apparently the big man upstairs decided to take a giant dump all over most of New York state. We got 18" of snow last night (some local areas reporting up to 26"). I've been up since 5:10AM this morning shoveling, and we still couldn't make it out of our driveway. Coy tried to gun it into the completely snowcovered street and got stuck, so it took another half hour of digging the car out and pushing it back up into the driveway. The plows haven't even TOUCHED our street so it's impossible, even with a set of four snow tires on our car. The main road near us is semi plowed, but since they haven't turned down our road we have about a 5 foot snow bank blocking the who…
