The Gamercide Stream thread should technically be mostly used for announcing what is currently being casted (that, or we should have a thread titled "Now Casting" or something along those lines). So to avoid clutter I'm starting this thread that can follow alongside that one with all of the discussion we want.

Come watch us play poker right now. I don't know how to embed. Go to justin.tv/pianokeys

So I'll be able to do another bit of a streaming marathon on the Gamercide channel next week, Monday through Thursday, and maybe a little bit on Friday, but I can't quite decide on a game or series. I have a few of ideas listed in the poll. Also feel free to call out another game from here that you think I should cast (yes, yes, I know, good luck navigating through it all lol). I was sort of leaning towards Monkey Island or maybe Prince of Persia, but still have a few good RPGs to play (though those usually take a huge amount of time, whereas I can do the whole MI series in a couple days if I don't get caught up in puzzles). The winning vote won't necessarily be the one…

Tonight around 8pm CST I plan on playing the old Hydro Thunder on my Dreamcast for those who have not seen the game. http://justin.tv/skylark95atc

After playing around in PS most of the day, I customized the page to something I don't hate and I'm happy to say things are all setup for streaming. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, so I'll probably do my first stream tomorrow during the day. Likely creating a new Skyrim character and starting from scratch. Maybe some BF3. We'll see. http://www.justin.tv/settings?section=channel&subsection=channel_members With this new feature, we could essentially have anyone from Gamercide, streaming from the Gamercide JTV channel. You could do it via FME, too, but with this, it's unique ID's you can add and remove. Kinda neat.

WELLLL SHIT. Looks like it's gonna be hard to make partner unless we really step it up. Don't want the advertising, but I do want the automatic transcoding! DAMNIT . This is also going to lead to a lot more ads on the larger caster channels TwitchTV Partner Program Now Available We have some big news today! We've officially launched the TwitchTV Partner Program. See some of the coverage here and here. See here for the official press release. What is it? It's a way for TwitchTV broadcasters (that's you) to make money. We take care of all the ad sales and serving, you simply share in the revenue generated on your channels. The program is available via an app…

I do things in it, like stream games. http://www.twitch.tv/morrslieb

I don't even know what's up with that background, someone made it for me. ANYWAY. http://www.twitch.tv/mrsbadexample I stream a ton of crap, and alternate between things because I have some serious gaming ADD. Generally stream on the weekend evenings when my manthing is at work. Right now I have Dishonoured, Chivalry, Amnesia, Bioshock and a few other things to play. (And JSR, thanks!) Also, if anyone has any advice on upping FPS quality, please let me know. I use xsplit currently and I noticed extreme choppy funtimes when streaming Dishonoured. Last time I tweaked the settings I blew everything up so I just restored it to default.

So, in case you haven't been following her Twitter. MrsBadExample has a very special stream coming up. She will be doing a little light reading, 60 pages or so, of 50 Shades of Grey with whatever cruel accent we demand. All live on stream for our viewing pleasure. The current date is set for April 8 @10:30pm PST. Mark it in your calendar folks, and get the beer ready. Gonna be a good night! MrsBadExample's Stream

Hey guys. I'm a big fan of League of Legends and I'm big in the League of Legends community and am getting into livestreaming. With the amount I livestream, I figure I'll toss out my links and see if it's possible to get them up on the Gamercide livestream page. I play mostly League of Legends although I do go through my plethora of other PC games. Minecraft, The Sims, any new game that I end up getting. I can see what I can do. Anyway here are the links I have. Own3d.tv link - http://www.own3d.tv/live/64932 Justin.tv - http://www.justin.tv...ors/b/287327617 I'll be streaming a lot tomorrow so feel free to stop in and watch! I love visitors. =D

Hey guys, I got a full screen capture working through Livestream.com Check it out please. Let me know how you like it. Thanks! http://www.livestream.com/xstardomx

Purchased a new cap card - ExtremeCap U3. Specs allow 1080p @ 60fps. Unfortunately xsplit doesn't seem to like that resolution with this capture card. So I figured I'd give obs a try. The setup has a learning curve, but thankfully lots of tutorials on youtube. After getting it setup, I'm kinda stunned at the quality achievable with almost zero performance impact over xsplit. My licence expires in April, and at this point I'm not sure I'll renew? Obs is an excellent alternative to xsplit. edit - is this even the right forum

So, I've started streaming almost every night now. Doing Wolfenstein right now, until tomorrow. I'll switch over to the Destiny beta then. If you get a chance swing by. Chat is wonky, but if it's not working on the system, I'll have it up on my phone. www.twitch.tv/spawn622
