The only thing is that it's within an enclosure, so you'll need a knife or small flathead screwdriver to remove the enclosure, but within it is a standard 9.5mm drive that will work fantastic. I'm purchased it and am going to upgrade later this week and take the drive from my PS4 and put in in my old PS3 (launch fat model and still kicking!!)

Anyone looking into maybe playing this? I have it on pre-order. Gamespot only gave it a 6, but it got 4 stars on Joystiq and a "Yes" on Kotaku. I'm still interested in playing it myself.

This was not the first time it was announced the servers would be taken offline. Atlus just came out and said they would be keeping the servers online for the "forseeable future". I LOVE YOU ATLUS! You make amazing games, and you seemingly care about your fans. If you have a PS3 definitely pick up Demon's Souls! It's only $20!

Hadn't heard of this one before, that video is from E3. It looks really interesting. Very cinematic and great graphics/lifelike faces. Definitely a Quantic Dream game.

Welp, for an Alpha test I have to say I'm pretty god damned impressed. I was never a huge fan of Halo, but this game is seriously fun. I was sucked in last night and didn't even get a chance to try out Battlefield (I got a code for that too). Best way to describe it is like Halo, with different character classes, mixed with a lot of Borderlands influence combined with maybe a hint of MMO. Super fun from what I've played. Probably going to pick this one up for sure.

Many have reported bricked ps3's after the recent 4.45 update. Most are 750 gb and 1tb self installed hard drive systems, but better to wait for sony's ok first. If you have ps+ make sure you turn off auto update.

Dragons dogma: dark arisen free on ps3 with ps+ it's really an interesting game. Plays out kinda like an old school rpg with lots of customization options.

I was not overly impressed with the first two games in the series. Mainly because the battle system does everything for you. The games basically just ran themselves. I tried the demo for this game and wow was I impressed! The battle system is actually fun now. Completely redone. I like how you can switch outfits with allow different powers to be used instantly. Each suit has its own ATB gauge so you can't just spam the same attack. I love the look of the different outfits Lightning can get. I am now interested in this game!

Well the new PS3 firmware update is out now .. the one with the monthly/yearly subscription .. I think I'm gonna sign up for it. I'll let you know how it is.
