Today i acquired my Transmissionary, Full Set, Psycho Collector, and Saint achievements. All im missing are my 5 day and 7 day survivor achievements. Hey guys .. it's easy to say that Borderlands is one hell of a damn fine game and the very little time I've played online with you guys have been great. But I usually play alone and have gotten through the main story at around Level 42 or 43. However when I started the second play through I thought I would be able to walk around like a god blowing the crap out of everything, but that's not the case. I know the game adjusts the enemies based on your player level and I did the first play through totally legit but now it's sort of annoying me. Well, my friend Matt and I went to pick up his preordered copy of CoD: BO @ gamestop on campus last night. He doesn't have LIVE, but that''s ok because we've always had great matches on split screen at his place (we played MW2 on Thursday nights last year split screen for a good 2-3 hours every week). However, we were both slightly disappointed at split screen for Treyarch's new game. As far as I know, there is no way to make or tweak game types. For instance, if you wanna play free-for-all, you cannot turn radar on/off, change number of kills needed to win, health, etc. Also, all of the guns are automatically unlocked in split screen. Well I decided to pick this up and.......it's surprisingly good! It is not exactly like the PC version. For example, playing the game normally, you can't just build your own house from scratch right from the get-go rather you must earn the right to build your own houses later on by unlocking it. Although, there are some cheat codes for the game just like PC that you can enter and do whatever you want. To do this you hold down RT, LT, RB, and LB all at once on the start menu. Looks like the new Dashboard update is scheduled to hit for everyone on tomorrow (November 1st). This one brings all the Kinect updates, updated Avatars (Hopefully they have fixed the broken clothes, costumes, props, etc.), ESPN3 support (with a participating ISP), Netflix updates (Including search), and more. Those of us who have had the preview have liked everything added for the most part. At least the people I've talked to.

"Silicon Valley motion-sensing technology company Canesta has announced that it is being purchased by Microsoft, with the sale due to be finalized before the end of 2010. Canesta develops 3D sensing hardware not unlike that used in Kinect, which launches next week. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, but the ending was awesome. Definitely an awesome reboot to the series and I cannot WAIT for a sequel! I'll write up my review next week.

The demo for Enslaved is up on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. (Linky) The game is ******* awesome, its really good, I wasn't going to download it, but people on my friends list kept recommending it to me. I download it and I find out its pretty damn fun, I suggest you download it and try it if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed. Its a mix between God of War, Devil May Cry, and the platforming feels like Assassin's Creed, or at least to me it does. So yea, download it and check it out.

Publisher 2K announced every copy of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, which ships next Tuesday, comes with a free membership certificate for the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club. This membership gives players access to "exclusive items," including an early playable demo of Duke Nukem Forever before it's public release. 2K did not say when the demo would be available, only confirming it'll be out "prior to the retail launch of the game," which is still marked for calendar year 2011.
