The headset that the platinum edition comes with, will not work on Xbox LIVE. It's a cheap headset anyways. If you've ordered that edition, cancel and get the regular version. Headset is not compatible with Xbox LIVE. For use with 3.5MM audio input and smart-phone devices only.

  6. An Xbox rep reportedly told One Hit Pixel, "I can confirm that Game DVR features will be available to Xbox Live Gold members only." The Game DVR feature allows the new console to record gameplay clips at 720p and 30 frames per second, and share them with others via Xbox Live. According to chief Xbox One platform architect Marc Whitten, the DVR function - which records in-game footage straight to the Xbox One cloud - will feature a fixed resolution and frame rate irrespective of the game's native settings. Xbox One will automatically record the last five minutes of a user's gameplay, and gameplay footage can also be streamed live to Twitch TV. http://www.computerandv…

  10. Just a heads up. If you want to start creating your Saint's Row The Third character, you can download the Initiation Station on XBL or PSN now. But, if you don't have a code to do so, go to Gamespot.com and they're giving out codes to download it. You need to have an account there though. I would post a link, but I'm posting this from my phone. It's on their homepage, can't miss it.

  11. While the Xbox 360 dashboard allows users to install any game disc they choose, Rockstar advises against installing the play disc. "For optimal performance, we recommend not installing the play disc," it said via Twitter. No specific reason is given, but we suspect it is related to the way the game likely streams data from both the hard drive and Play disc simultaneously to achieve the fastest possible load speeds. Rumors have long swirled throughout the video game industry that a western developer was working on the next installment of Devil May Cry. These rumors were confirmed today at Capcom's Toyko Game Show press briefing. Brithish developer Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword, Enslaved) is developing the next installment. The teaser video that was shown didn't reveal much other than that Dante would be returning (shocker), only this time he's much younger. How young? His hair is black! Capcom also noted that key members from previous Devil May Cry games will be helping Ninja Theory make this game. As of now, it has the working title DMC: Devil May Cry and is in development for Pla…

  15. From 1Up I don't like it. What's to stop a griefer from attacking a posse, and letting them kill him 6 times? Won't hurt him. He'll be able to transport safely away. Meanwhile, that posse who was doing a hideout, now has the Marshals after them. This will be abused, I think. Wish they went in a different direction with this. We have been griefed before, and taught them a lesson by killing them over and over, after they shot us in the back at hideouts.

  18. Rapper Daz Dillinger has sent Rockstar a cease and desist letter, after accusing the developer of using his music in Grand Theft Auto V without paying him. TMZ reports that Dillinger's tracks "C-Walk" and "Nothin' But the Cavi Hit" are included in the game, despite Daz having turned down Rockstar's "offensively low offer of $4,271.00 for both songs." Downloaded the demo. After playing through it for 20 minutes I up and bought the full game. Karen said it best: "It's like Diablo meets The Tick." Plus it has 2 player local co-op. We'll be playing to together soon. So. Much. Fun.
