Posts that don't belong anywhere else

I went to friendlys tonight and looked at the menu and stared at it for a good minute in disgust. The meal that stood out to me was referred to as "The Ultimate". The mere description of this burger gave me a heart attack, "A Big Beef burger between two hot grilled cheese sandwiches, with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Tasting is believing." The first thing that came to my mind was KFC's double down. The difference between these two meals is that the double down only has about 500 calories while the ultimate has 1,160... My friend ordered it, I told him not to. He said it couldn't be that unhealthy then I showed him this article when i got home: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/…

Hey all Here are the latest pics of Logan who is 2 months.

So, for a while I haven't been on here and I miss all you guys. I'll start with that. Anyway, despite being swamped with work, college starting soon, all my friends leaving me, and whatnot, we decided to have some fun. I went skydiving roughly 9 hours ago. Here are some pictures and the quick sample video. I'll have the full one soon when it comes in the mail! And the link to the video is right here unless I can embed it. http://www.funskydiv...eo=NITE0312.swf

"The Corpse Flower gets its name from the pungent stench it emits in bloom - this, combined with the flower's huge size and deep purple color, convinced the first explorers who encountered it in Sumatra to believe it was a man-eating plant! Since then, this extremely rare plant has gained celebrity status by having one of the largest, rarest, and smelliest flowers in the world. These flowers can reach heights of 7-10 ft and a diameter of 5-6 ft. For the next week or so, you can see this incredibly rare and odorous flower for yourself in the Cockrell Butterfly Center! We anticipate that the flower will be in full bloom over the weekend of July 9 - 11. In the meantime, you…

Have you ever felt like you are not accomplishing anything? Well.. I fell that way.

Hello everyone, check out this excellent translation! This means that write in multiple languages and delays, perhaps Engrish. It is a good thing! http://funnytranslat...om/translation/

If you participate in this thread/experiment, you are agreeing to be my test subject. This is a no spam thread. I am only going to give you the subject of the experiment, Phobos. What happens next, will be your own research and knowledge. I am not going to lead you in any way, other than the subject. The more people who put an hour or so into this, the better. I'd like to see what a collection of people can come up with. This is not for any class or government study. Just something I wanted to try. Once it concludes, I'll explain why I wanted it done this way. Until this experiment concludes, I will not be posting again in this thread.

ROFL!!!!!

This thread was pointed out to some of us on the Xbox forums. It's about The Pro, who is part of Xbox LIVE's policy enforcement team (the folks who ban you from LIVE for being naughty). Click Some of my faves: The Pro can eat a hard shell taco without cracking the shell. He once taught a German Shepard to bark…..in Spanish.

I literally just had the best weekend of my life. I went to a music festival called Oxegen where you camp for 4 days. It pissed rain for the first 3 days and the last day was unreal. I got front row for Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine and Jay Z and went to Muse and Black Eyed Peas and they were EPIC. Out of the 50,000 that went to see Florence, I got front row..nearly creamed myself. Crowd for Florence- http://www.youtube.c...h?v=gPLGabLWWpA

and I need like people to help me out. It's all online. Shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes. Any takers?\ edit: Done. Thanks so much ya'll!

Full one month trial to gamefly instead of the usual 14 days..... great service to try out, been using it eversince 2006 and get to play any two games i want for about 25 bucks a month. Instead of buying one game every three months i use gamefly to play whatever i want, and get to play many more games than i would be able to otherwise. I'm not trying to give you guys some kind of infomercial or something, so if you like click the link for a free month to try it out, if you dont like it just discontinue the service. Most of ya probably already use this, but i figured i'd give ya'll a headsup anyway. here's the link

No, this isn't really life advice, but it's advice needed nonetheless. My 360s disc drive is done, nada, broken, pointless, etc. and my console is out of warranty. So, my options are either (a) repair it myself if possible, (b)Pay for the repair with Xbox Support © Get a new console. Advice needed, go!

to finaly get a new computer screen.... 6months been playing and chatting on my laptop... 21.5inches.. 150$.. i like cool and cheap stuff.

Since there is nobody to talk to, I am off to bed. lol

Let me know what you think.

Game X Change really rips people off, out of curiosity, I asked how much they would buy a mint condition Guitar Hero 5 Guitar for, they said $22, a lousy $22. Now, if you buy one brand new at say like Wal-Mart, it costs $80, so they are only giving you a 4th of the full price you paid. That is ridiculous right?

I'm looking for a live stream but can't find one without having to pay for it. Can anyone help?

So last semester for CompSci I had to program the classic boardgame, Battleship. Pretty basic and nothing too complicated since it only had to be played by users and no AI components. Well out of boredom today, I started making an AI algorithm so a player could play against the computer. Six hours later, the AI structure is complete and ready to be tested. Turns out the human player only has 0.27% chance of winning against the computer. My AI is too smart, fail.

Alright, I have recently become involved with Little Big Planet and it's absolutely amazing level creator. I have played around with it for a bit, and have decided to actually get serious and try to produce my own level. What I have done, was create a Blueprint in Photoshop explaining the early stages of the level. The blueprint contains information on mostly everything so you won't be lost and all like "What the hell does that mean?" More updates are to come, but this is what the level looks like right now. Feedback and suggestions on what else I should do? http://fc03.devianta...y_Sycotic45.png I will just link to the image, since it is pretty massive. Note: It starts o…

So I used to have VS 2008 running on Vista, but upgraded to Windows 7 about nine months ago and just re-installed VS. When I go to run my code without debugging, the command window opens literally for half of a second and then closes so I can't do any user-prompted commands. What's going on and how can I fix it since this didn't occur on Vista \o/ Edit: Nevermind, found the problem.

So I'll be going camping for the 4th of July as usual. I leave tomorrow morning and will be back in about a week. See ya'll later. Oh, and I need someone to rant about anime and post overly long comments in threads while I'm gone to maintain order in the Gamercide universe. Any takers?

Did anyone else? This same thing happened to my son some months ago. The email doesn't explain why, either. Just says "subject Enjoy 400 points on us". The email also gives some help in spending your new points. Mostly avatar stuff, but also XBLA and Zune movies etc.
