General Discussion

Tragedy strikes a denver suburb when an armed assailant enters a rise of the dark night showing through the theaters emergency exit and unloads an automatic rifle into the crowd. After taking him into custody authorities found an explosive device as well. 14 were injured with 10 dead at last update I saw, several were children. I for one am glad colorado has death penalty.

In a rather bold statement by Sony about the successor to their handheld device, the PSP, Sony claims that the PSP2 “is as powerful as the PS3″. In a report by MCV, Sony dropped details on the PSP2 as “having HD screen with twin control sticks in the familiar brick form factor” and MCV is claiming that “there is potential for a phone to be included”. More details will be coming on January 27, as Sony prepares an announcement about the handheld for GDC. A mini handheld portable version of the PS3 would be great, but claims and facts are two separate things. Let’s see what the future holds Sony before jumping to conclusions.
via MCV <br…

Can someone tell me if they can hear the audio and how it is... I have been trying to get this to work and I may have got it...\ http://www.justin.tv/skylark95atc#sid=29

From http://hyperboleanda...everything.html The Alot is Better Than You at Everything As a grammatically conscientious person who frequents internet forums and YouTube, I have found it necessary to develop a few coping mechanisms. When someone types out "u" instead of "you," instead of getting mad, I imagine them having only one finger on each hand and then their actions seem reasonable. If I only had one finger on each hand, I'd leave out unnecessary letters too! If I come across a person who seems to completely ignore the existence of apostrophes and capital letters and types things like "im an eagle and im typing with my talons, so dont make fun of me cuz th…

Do you guys want to watch/discuss it here or should we move it to the Wii section?

Happy Birthday Bogeh!!!!

Happy birthday brother, hope it's a good one!

Dateranoth has found a nice solution for any of us who wants to stream live. It's incredibly easy and the people who run it, are willing to work with us on our portal. This is where you all come in. Give us feedback on the sorts of options/features you'd like to see there. Combined chat with stream is one we will already be asking for. Here are some streams for you to check out, so you can get an idea for feedback. This is essentially what a channel in our portal would look like, once made for us. …

So Blizzard just announced that they are remaking the entirety of the original Diablo within DIablo III (free patch for those who own Reaper of Souls), and available on both PC and console editions of the game. The full 16 levels of the original Diablo, all the original bosses, optional graphical effects and filters (I imagine a pixilation option to make it seem more retro), and also an 8 directional movement system. Seriously cool. Also, they have announced that they are re-introducing the Necromancer class from Diablo II.

Alright, it's about time for my semi-annual system reformatting. This computer is a mother-effing zombie, I know (and it's awesome lol), but every time it starts getting glitchy, a reformat always helps it. Plus I have a 1.5TB external hard drive that I pretty much store everything on anyways. If all goes well I should be back posting later tonight or tomorrow morning, assuming I start it soon (which I plan to). I just need to make an inventory of my programs and firefox add-ons to reinstall first, then I'll cast REVIVE on this thing and reinstall all of it's drives which I have stored on my external HD. Hopefully my color issues and whatnot will be fixed with this.

I haven't logged in here for a very long time, and it was long over due to say hello to my internet friends and family. The list at the bottom doesn't currently show anyone logged in, so I'll stop by later and see what is up with everyone. I miss hanging out with all of you and hope we can catch up soon. -Stealthy

It was going to happen eventually, amaright guys?!

Good luck all!

Occasionally we read something that is so far out there in the world of all things gaming that we have to take a moment and acknowledge those dumbasses with “The Dumbass Award”. Have you ever found yourself playing a game Frogger and thinking, “Gee, I want to play a real life version of Frogger.”. If you answered “yes” to that question, then you are just as insane as this guy who failed at playing a real life version of Frogger yesterday. A 23 year old dumbass from South Carolina was struck by a 2010 Lexus after attempting to navigate a four lane highway like the video game Frogger. He stood beside the highway and when traffic was coming he yelled, “Go!” and jumped in f…

It is discussion time! Remember all opinions will be tied with your gamertag Is the XBL Marketplace overpriced as a whole or is it just certain content? Think about themes, gamer pics, avatar items, Zune Marketplace, and DLC....all of it. Where do you stand when it comes to the pricing? Feel free to make comparisons to PSN and the Wii store too! Thanks everyone

So much recycled content, so little time. Don't get me wrong, I've had a lot of fun playing Call of Duty games in the past, but lately I've lost a lot of interest in them to be honest. They weren't kidding with the whole "war never changes" bit. Did anyone else pick it up? I may check it out when I get a PS4 but definitely not on current gen consoles.

No online authentication. No used game restrictions. I don't care how much it costs. I have a launch PS3 (which was ridiculous to begin with). I'm fucking sold. And Elder Scrolls Online + FFXV? Done deal. Game set and effing match Sony. Kudos to you. I wish you well (and my Vita is ready for the cross play!)

In my current college semester I am in an Introduction to Public Speaking class, and this was my first major speech. I think it went well enough for me to share. It is an informative speech about what video game live streaming/broadcasting is, its origins, and how it has influenced gamers and the gaming industry. Other than a couple verbal stumbles and note checks when I lost my place, I think it went quite well.

Please give Isabel a giant hug and kiss from all of us here and tell her Happy Birthday!!!!! Much love to you and all your family bro. *thumbs up*

On Depression & Getting Help This was originally posted February 26, 2010. I deal with suicidal, unipolar depression and I take medication daily to treat it. Over the past seven years, I’ve had two episodes that were severe and during which I thought almost exclusively of suicide. I did not eat much and lost weight during these episodes. I couldn’t sleep at all, didn’t even think about sex, and had constant diarrhea. The first thing I did each morning was vomit. My mind played one thought over and over, which was “Kill yourself.” It was also accompanied by a constant, thrumming pain that I felt through my whole body. I describe the physical symptoms because it hel…
