Movies and TV

Ok, this is getting a little ridiculous. First the Karate Kid is blasphemed, and now Little Orphan Annie!?!? And who is being eyed to play Annie? The cute little girl with the curly red hair? WILLOW SMITH. Yes, Will's Smith's daughter. /facepalm I'm all for remakes, but this is like casting Eddie Murphy as the Riddler or Jamie Foxx as Lynch in Kane & Lynch. GAH! *Note, please keep things civil. I'm just frustrated over ruining classic movies and roles*

Tonight, 10 o clock eastern time on comedy central! 2 new episodes, and if your interested at 8 they are showing the last of the movies(Into the Wild Green Yonder).

Anyone else watch this show at all? Just curious. How do you feel about the lead role (Spartacus) being recast? It's sad the main character had to leave due to cancer, but it will be interesting to see where they go with the show now. Won't return to TV until sometime in 2012 though at this rate.

Yo, holla at ya boys who be watchin that anime. So for starters I'm gonna be posting up anime's you should be watching right now. SWORD ART ONLINE This anime is about some Japanese teens who get stuck inside a video game. Kind of like .//hack So the main dude, emo jacket is this kid, he's super talented. Better than everyone. Generic hero setup. But this anime isn't so much about fighting as it is about the relationships between characters. Out of the first 4 episodes, there are like, only 2 fight scenes. It's mostly just dialogue. For a little while he's kind of the generic angsty teen, but he gets over it fast and picks up the show. The main downside is the s…

Amazing. I laughed my arse off this weekend watching it. I love the blaxploitation genre. Some other great movies are Black Belt Jones (the main character also appeared in Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon), as well as the Dolemite series (R.I.P. Rudy Ray Moore!!!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-wqmnJrOFM

Has anyone caught this hilarious new series on FX (remade from the Australian series of the same name)? Spawn clued me into it and I caught all three episodes posted on FX.com to catch up. SO great. Elijah Wood as the depressed Ryan is so hilarious, and Jason Gann as Wilfred, the dog, is superb. If you've seen previews or commercials on FX and just think it's ludicrous silliness, give it a shot. Won't take you more than an hour to catch up with the whole series.

http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2012/02/02/could-star-wars-underworld-have-a-time-travel-premise/ http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46240597/ns/local_news-san_francisco_bay_area_ca/ This is all just a rumor at this point, but knowing George it's not out of the realm of possibility for him. If there was ever a time for a mash-up gif of NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! images, this would be that time.

Here's episode #1 http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/weed-country/videos/welcome-to-the-garden.htm They have three full episodes up now. Enjoy!

Yup, they're doing a remake of the the miniseries based on the the Stephen King book. I don't know if it's necessary or if it will even be good (Original miniseries was not good, save for Tim Curry.), but I'll be damned if Bill Skarsgård don't look creepy as hell as Pennywise. Can we agree to just kill it with fire? Please?

Anyone gonna go see this? We are going to when it comes out. This one looks even better than the others. Idk if its just me, but it seems like they get better each time, but idk. I'll post back after we see it and tell ya if its any good, or just plain stupid.
