Sony

This was supposedly leaked today.

Just curious if anyone else picked this up. I just got it today and haven't even started it. Honestly, the first thing I noticed, and I have to say I'm curious how it went under the radar, is the online pass. I guess Sony is jumping on the bandwagon as well. Of course the game comes with one, but if you buy it used expect to drop another 10 bucks for the pass, including multiplayer. Shitty things aside, everything I've seen looks great. I'm really looking forward to getting into it. I'd start it tonight, but I don't have the time to put in it I want. So, I'm going to wait, and hopefully stream some tomorrow.

This is one amazing sale especially if your a PS+ member. Playstation doing it right. They want all digital on consoles they have to have more sales like this. https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/home/games?smcid=ps:show-now:games:ps-playstation-store Yesterday the sale went live. Along with the sale PS+ members get Bioshock Infinite for free as part of the instant game collection for January. Sale ends on Monday Jan, 20th from what I can tell so you better do it this week if your going to. So what does everyone think about this seriously being released and it's not even the full game. Fuck, it's a fighting game WITH NO ARCADE MODE AT LAUNCH! Who DOES that!? (Oh yeah, Capcom..... smh) Anyways, I know it's a work in progress and they plan on releasing constant updates to avoid having multiple full price releases (Super Mega Ultimate Street Fighter V: Gonzo Megazord IN YO FACE Edition), but that doesn't excuse this clearly "alpha" release.

Graphically the PS3 is really starting to hit its stride and blow 360 out of the water. Though, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 really started that trend.

.. yep .. the game lives up to the hype. I finally had enough cash saved up so I could get a game and I picked it up on Friday. I've spent most of the weekend playing it and it certainly is one of the PS3 top FPS. Really fast passed, really challenging and lots of fun to play. I haven't tried it with the MOVE yet but from what I've heard it's supposed to work pretty good. If you have a PS3 and like FPSs give this game a try .. might be a renter for some people .. I suck at it so I die a lot extending the time I'm playing it for, but I think the game is about 8-9 hours long. I also don't care about multiplayer so I can't really have an opinion on that.

Sony revealed plans to release two new tablets at a press event in Tokyo today. The two new Android 3.0, currently codenamed the S1 and S2 will allow the systems to run certified PS1 titles and be 3G and 4G compatible depending on the model you buy. The S1 will also include infrared technology, which will allow the tablet to act as a remote for Sony Bravia devices. The S2 will have two 5.5 inch displays and both are set for a fall release. If not for the fact this was a Google product, I'd say we have another failed Sony handheld. But, this looks to be a decent enough addition to an already stellar product and app lineup.

Jason's birthday is coming up in March and I've been thinking about getting him one. We have the Xbox One and with there not being a lot of games out right now, it has gotten a bit tiresome to play..well at least until Titanfall and a few others come out anyway. So what is the game list like for the PS4? If I buy it, will he be in the same boat with the Xbox One with only a small amount of games available? With the PS3, it was mainly only used for a blu-ray player and that is another reason why I am questioning if I want to get it.

I still think it's B.S. to be able to stream a true 5.1 sound but it does seem like they are ramping up the service to compete with things like Xbox360, Apple TV, Roku, and Boxee. Here's the link on Joystiq. LINK

I was not overly impressed with the first two games in the series. Mainly because the battle system does everything for you. The games basically just ran themselves. I tried the demo for this game and wow was I impressed! The battle system is actually fun now. Completely redone. I like how you can switch outfits with allow different powers to be used instantly. Each suit has its own ATB gauge so you can't just spam the same attack. I love the look of the different outfits Lightning can get. I am now interested in this game!

Phantom Pain was revealed today at GDC. One word - HOLYFUCKINGSHITBALLSGUIZ! I'll be updating this thread as soon as the videos are released. The reveal happened at a live event, and so far no videos have been put up yet. Kojima's new Fox engine is amazing as well. I hope to also post videos of that in action. It's very impressive. Also, I believe "Ishmael" is voiced by Keifer Sutherland. Not sure on that yet, though. Stay Tuned ***Update*** Higher def version here

Any PSN Plus members here snag the demo of Mortal Kombat yet? Any impressions? I've seen videos of the demo, but they show nothing new that we haven't seen elsewhere (other than the full fatalities for the 4 demo characters). I want this to be at least enjoyable since Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has reignited my desire to play fighting games.

Driveclub PS + edition is out today in the PS Store. Has a couple vehicles you can unlock and a decent number of tracks with predominately online play now with some offline to come later. The upgrade to the full game is now only $25.

Hey All, Some great sales going on at sony store this week. Rockstar Games Sale Great prices on some of those games if you have never played them or want to run them again. (Red Dead, Max Payne...) There are some other games on sale but I found this little gem tucked away on the list: Demon Souls (could not link to it for some reason). It is only $10.99 right now! I have never played it so this might be a good chance to grab it.
