Alright, well, I bought this game a while back, actually. Regardless, I'm enjoying it very much. Controls were pretty hard to get used to at first, but they feel pretty much normal now. I completed the Campaign, and now I'm going through it on Easy just to get the "Don't Die on All Missions" Trophy. After that I'll rack up some spare achievements I need to collect in Campaign, and go towards beating it on Elite, which is going to be a pain. Multiplayer is really fun, and I have a few friends I play with regularly to keep me company. Two thing I honestly didn't like was the story, and the writing. Story seemed very cliche, and the writing was ridiculously boring and uninte…

.. yep .. the game lives up to the hype. I finally had enough cash saved up so I could get a game and I picked it up on Friday. I've spent most of the weekend playing it and it certainly is one of the PS3 top FPS. Really fast passed, really challenging and lots of fun to play. I haven't tried it with the MOVE yet but from what I've heard it's supposed to work pretty good. If you have a PS3 and like FPSs give this game a try .. might be a renter for some people .. I suck at it so I die a lot extending the time I'm playing it for, but I think the game is about 8-9 hours long. I also don't care about multiplayer so I can't really have an opinion on that.

So I totally forgot about this game completely, considering it's been in development for forever. So after having this game linger around my house for a loooooong time, unloved and unplayed, I decided to pop it into my PS3 this weekend and play through it. Wow. Talk about long cutscenes! I mean, I loved the game completely. Incredible story and incredible graphics, but I really felt the gameplay was sparse. It was like a movie that was interspersed with some gameplay moments. But yeah, I loved the game. Definitely was worth the $19.99 I paid for the game. Anyone else played it/beaten it?

Phantom Pain was revealed today at GDC. One word - HOLYFUCKINGSHITBALLSGUIZ! I'll be updating this thread as soon as the videos are released. The reveal happened at a live event, and so far no videos have been put up yet. Kojima's new Fox engine is amazing as well. I hope to also post videos of that in action. It's very impressive. I passed on this game when it first came out because for some reason it just did not look like something I would enjoy. The graphics were good looking but the whole story and such didn't grab me as something to buy. Boy was I wrong about this game!! I downloaded it last night and I simply could not put this game down. The graphics are beautiful on the PS3, gameplay is fun and the voice acting is legit. The level of detail given to the environments is staggering for what is now considered last gen. Can't wait to get home to continue the story. I would go as far to say that this is one of the best games ever offered on PS+ as part of the membership.

Any PSN Plus members here snag the demo of Mortal Kombat yet? Any impressions? I've seen videos of the demo, but they show nothing new that we haven't seen elsewhere (other than the full fatalities for the 4 demo characters). I want this to be at least enjoyable since Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has reignited my desire to play fighting games.

Sony announced today their ps+ free titles for July. First up we get Battlefield 3, then in no particular order metal slug xx, jet set radio for the vita, and munch's oddysee hd. Lots of discounts over the next two weeks as well.

I've been playing offline Connected Franchise myself as a giant QB for the Raiders (lol 7' tall), but after seeing this glitch that apparently occurs with Utimate Team I want to see it in person! You're looking at Christian Kirksey, LB for the Titans, and at 1' 2" tall, he's still apparently capable of making plays hahahaha

Sony revealed plans to release two new tablets at a press event in Tokyo today. The two new Android 3.0, currently codenamed the S1 and S2 will allow the systems to run certified PS1 titles and be 3G and 4G compatible depending on the model you buy. The S1 will also include infrared technology, which will allow the tablet to act as a remote for Sony Bravia devices. The S2 will have two 5.5 inch displays and both are set for a fall release. If not for the fact this was a Google product, I'd say we have another failed Sony handheld. But, this looks to be a decent enough addition to an already stellar product and app lineup.

So far I've definitely been enjoying it. I made a Thaumaturge and the game is actually pretty cool. I think I'm going to need to pick up a small bluetooth keyboard for the chat or whatever, but using the controller is actually pretty great. Anyone else played this/playing this?
