  1. Started by CHINESE BABOON,

My summer internship ended a few weeks ago so I'm back at school. Fortunately my internship went well and I'll be receiving a full time job offer within the next week or so. Since I have some extra cash from my job I was wondering what are some good games that have come out over the last year that I can play online with you guys? I bought the new Ghost Recon and expect it in the mail within the next few days.

  2. I love Gearbox for doing this, this is incredibly cool.

  3. Keeping up with my tradition of writing first impressions for games that give me joy I played this game for a couple hours last night and here are my first impressions: In my short playtime(around 3-4 hours) with Borderlands 2 this evening I felt the game was everything the original Borderlands was and more! I noticed some good improvements over the first game right away. I had trouble deciding on which of the four new characters to select because they all look really fun. Of course, I picked Maya making it a tradition to run through with the Siren class first. First off it seems much easier to jump right into a friends game from the main screen. You get a dialog that tel…

So I won two days ago and got all excited. I ended up winning a Chinese takeout avatar item and then I figured out that you win either of the four offers. Anyway, my friend request thing blew up so I'm warning you all.....if you win.....expect your inbox to overflow.

Anyone else play Dragon's Dogma? I am loving the crap outta this game. I am actually having a really hard time tearing myself away from it to play B2. I really got sucked into it, and I can't put it down.

  6. ‘The Awakening’- the first in a three-part Dishonored webisode series entitled ‘The Tales from Dunwall’. These engrossing prequels, scored by Daniel Licht (Dexter) and narrated by Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass), give you a first-hand glimpse into Dishonored’s shadowy whaling world of Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is in disarray and on the verge of dystopia. Created by Psyop, each episode was predominantly produced by hand. Each frame was a fully rendered style frame, which was then enhanced with 3D elements to add to the painterly atmosphere, dimension and depth of each shot. Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively e…

  7. A bug affecting some players of Borderlands 2 is apparently wiping unlocked progress on all platforms. As noted in a 33-page thread on the official Gearbox forums, some players are starting up the game to find Badass Ranks, golden keys, heads, skins and achievement progress reset to zero. Worse still, menus displaying the content or challenges don’t actually reset, meaning the game thinks the content is unlocked even if you don’t have access to it, so you can’t re-earn skins or replay challenges in order to get them back. The bug in question can be seen in the video below from YouTube user RyogaWanderer Source - IGN

  8. This is the final installment of The Tales from Dunwall. I enjoyed them and look forward to the game.

Has anyone else picked up the new RE. I grabbed it yesterday and after an hour or so i was acc happy. I like how they went back to the T virus zombies. The only downfall i see are he 3 diff storys, but they all work togeather so ill live.

Picked it up yesterday and..... IT..... IS......EPIC!!! Brings back so many memories of long sleepless nights playing the old original PC version. Really great game so far and I'm eager to check out the multiplayer too if anyone else picks it up. Seriously though. Great fucking game. I'm glad Firaxis picked it up, their experience with the Civ series definitely helped them to nail the classic feel of XCOM and yet bring it mainstream. Can't wait to go home and play more! Right now my main 6 person squad consists of: Leeroy Jenkins - Heavy class (charges in the with big guns right off the bat, figured Leeory was a good fit lol) Chuck Norris - Sniper class (eh, he became…

Ok all as my tradition goes I will try to do these for games that I pickup day one. I have been watching this game for the last couple of months. It sort of came out of nowhere from a game that I was not really interested in to a day one purchase. The more videos and screens I saw the more I wanted the game. I love single player RPGs. I also love games that give me choices as much as possible that also have ramifications on the rest of the characters or world. Choices on how to handle a situation, where to go next, who lives, who dies and different ways of handling situations none of which are wrong. I think it adds replay-ability. You go through again to see how differen…

I have bought all the Halo games since the first one but am just feeling conflicted about this one. Halo 2 was my favorite and Halo 3 was pretty awesome as well even though I hate the flood lol. Halo 3 had the best multiplayer in my opinion. ODST was a letdown for me all around. Halo Reach was good and I like the addition of the class powers and such. For some reason I got bored of Reach pretty fast and did not dig the multiplayer as much either. Anniversary Edition? Fun for a minute until you realize how dated it felt. Maybe the series is just getting really stale? Either way when I look at vids and stuff for Halo 4 I am trying to get excited but I feel like it is going…

Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials, being released in December for $4.99 (or 400 Microsoft Points), will include 10 challenge maps that will test and track your combat, stealth and mobility skills. Ten distinct trials await challengers - including an arena battle against waves of enemy AI, a gravity-defying run of drop assassinations, and a race against the clock. Dunwall City Trials also features a whole new set of achievements and trophies as well as a global online leaderboard that will establish the greatest assassins for each challenge. The second and third add-ons for Dishonored will be coming in 2013 and will each feature story-driven campaigns. Pricing on these two p…

http://www.gamespot....actions-6399037 Alright I thought the post title was funny. Just read that Assassin's Creed 3 is going to support micro transactions. What that could mean is that you can buy in-game credits to buy things to help your character with xbox points which we all know cost real money. This happened in ME3 where you could buy specter packs or the new SSX where you could get items faster that could help you win on certain tracks. I don't buy this stuff because it is way more fun to earn it. While the games are not forcing me to buy these things I just don't like this news at all. An example would be what has happened to iOS gaming. All the games have this I…

Soo..I don't know if anyone is as excited for this game (I may be one of the few, LoL), but does anyone know if the bonus content (i.e. Nuketown 2025) will be included only with pre-orders placed on the official site? Or if it also applies to pre-orders from Best Buy, etc. That's where I placed my pre-order at so I was just curious. I searched but I haven't been able to come up with any definitive explanation on it.

  19. Didn't see one of these yet, so heeeeeeere we go! So far the game is fantastic. Graphics are a step up in my opinion from 2, at least noticeable enough for me. "Prelude" was definitely interesting and with a great plot twist (don't spoil it for yourself and please don't spoil in here). One thing I have to absolutely rave about though? The naval battles. Seriously, I love this part of the game. I would pay like $20 for an XBLA game or something that was just like this part of the game and maybe have multiplayer. Excellently done in my opinion. Anyone else playing this? I just finished Sequence 6 and am working on my homestead and just messing around trying to make mo…

Okay, this has me a bit excited. The two screenshots below remind me of Ald'ruhn and Sadrith Mora from Morrowind. The trailer also speaks of Solsteim, which was a place in Morrowind! http://i.imgur.com/YCEya.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KS4HJ.jpg Dragonborn will be available for download for 1600 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE® on December 4.

No, that's not Genki from Saint's Row 3 Nightmare in North Point is the first story-extending add-on for Square Enix London Studios' and United Front Games' undercover cop drama, Sleeping Dogs. Taking an unusual twist on the traditional open world gameplay, Wei Shen is thrown into a world of Hong Kong Horror when the ghosts of Triads past rise from Hell, bent on taking over the city and installing 'Smiley Cat' as the new Dragon Head. Of course, Face doesn't mean a thing when the minions of hell roam the streets, and Wei must seek out the strongest of Chinese magic to grant him the power to defeat the dead and send them back to Hell for all eternity. Priced at 560MSP, $6…

Have you played Silicon Knight's game "Too Human"? Well if you haven't you may want to try to pick up your copy on the cheap soon. According to the judgement against them, they must "cease producing or distributing" all games they made with Unreal 3 technology and "shall recall and destroy (at the expense of Silicon Knights") all unsold copies" of those games no later than...... 12/21/12 (lol mayans). Too Human and X-Men: Destiny are on that list. Observe page 41 of the judgement: Honestly Too Human was a pretty cool and fun game, and I didn't mind the multiplayer either. The story was interesting and a cool take on the Norse mythos. Have you played it before? What d…
