  1. I can pick it up from Gamefly right now. It's on sale for $9.99. I have a $5 coupon to make it $4.99, and I save 5% on top of that. Free shipping. Worth it? I know Pogre has played it.

Perceptive Steam users have notice that the online service's support page now references both PS3 and Xbox in one of its user feedback boxes. So why is that strange? Well, Steam is only available on PC and PS3, and the later of the two is only because Microsoft likes to keep Xbox Live's infrastructure close to the vest. Valve hasn't said anything about the matter yet, and while some outlets are speculating that this is an announcement in the works, the timing doesn't seem to make sense. Wouldn't it have been better for Valve and Microsoft to announce Steam for Xbox Live at E3 or Gamescom? And why would that announcement happen at the Tokyo Game Show, in a region where bar…

Rejoice Elder Scrolls Fans! For I have come bearing news of what you will and shall expect to see in the newest installment of the Elder Scrolls Franchise, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. ES5: Skyrim takes place in the Nordic lands of Skyrim(Obviously) which is north of Cyrodiil. You play the role of Dovakiin or Dragonborn, and you will kill many dragons for hours and hours to come. Bethesda actually created an entirely new engine for this game, making game play more crisp and making the draw distance a lot farther than usual. Shadows now cast off anything that should have a shadow, and if you enjoy playing in 3rd person, it's actually possible to do so now. Remember that th…

  8. Just bought this from Gamefly for $8.63 and free shipping. Should have it in about a week. Good buy? I remember renting it when it first came out but there were a lot of other games out at the time and I never really got around to playing it much. I think I only played about an hour's worth. So, what do you think? Was it a good game?

  9. The latest Xbox Live Newsbeat update included release dates for two pieces of downloadable content that we didn't even know existed. We typically don't care for surprises, but we're willing to make an exception if it means we get more maps for the multiplayer component of BioShock 2 and more things to explode in Just Cause 2. On April 29, six new multiplayer maps will be added to BioShock 2 as part of the "Rapture Metro Map Pack." For 800 ($10), players get the new arenas, three new masks, a "Kill 'Em Kindly" Melee deathmatch mode, and three new Achievements. Just Cause 2 will receive the "Black Market Aerial Pack," a 160 ($2) booster which adds the chaingun-toting F-33 D…

So yeah that's where I've been, making enough money to buy one. Upgrading it as my ONLY system! One thing though..the DRM page doesn't work on Xbox.com, so I've got a delay in that area. Other than that, I like it.

"In an interview with the New York Times last month, Inafune was critical of the state of the Japanese game industry: “I look around T.G.S., and everyone’s making awful games. Japan is at least five years behind. It’s like we’re still making games for the last generation of game consoles. Capcom is barely keeping up. The ideas, game play, design – there’s no diversity, no originality.”" I really hope he starts up his own studio. It's not just Japanese developers, either. It's all over. While there are some entertaining new titles out, it's mostly been the indie developers coming out with new ideas and games. How many times have you played a sequel in a series, and it's j…

Did anyone here pick it up last night or today? I've read a few reviews and they are not to favorable. Of course those were from Joysti q and ******, so I was wondering if anyone here has it or played in their homes and not on a stage that Microsoft designed for it.

I knew many zoomed into the party gaming aspect of Kinect and think it's a cute peripheral. I always knew there'd be more to it. If they wanted just a motion detector, they could have upgraded their vision cam and made more games like TotemBall. It's not a cheap web cam like many think, though. It has several different lenses, voice recognition and is able to map and track objects and people. Today, some patents were discovered. It's very possible, that in the near future, you'll be able to play and converse with a deaf gamer. Read the full story, here [EDGE]

We hope you’ve been paying attention to Kinect Party, the sequel to Double Fine Happy Action Theater, because it is on the verge of being in your home. It comes out for free on December 18, and it’ll stay free for the rest of the year. So don’t miss it! Tell your friends! After all, you’ll need people to .I know, I know. “Free!?” you’re asking. “That’s can’t be true, not when Kinect Party includes 36 amazing reality-altering activities.” But it’s definitely true, because it was officially reported by Major Nelson. You really have to know your stuff to reach Major in the Microsoft Accurate Information Corps, so you know it’s legit. So download Kinect Party on Xbox Live A…
