Well my brother let me borrow Deadspace and I have to say it is a lot of fun. I am into Chapter 2 and having a blast. My only "issue" if you want to call it that is the save stations. I do not always have a lot of time and sometimes emergencies happen. I tend to play at night after the kids and wife are in bed, but on occasion one will wake up and I will need to stop. I have to say it reminds me a lot of Bioshock and Half-Life...

The first game add-on for Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) brings the original Left 4 Dead (L4D1) Survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay for the PC and Xbox 360. The Passing also introduces a series of weekly game mode events dubbed "Mutations." These week-long runs of new gameplay modes range from "Realism Versus" mode to "Chainsaw Massacre," which gives all players chainsaws with an unlimited supply of gasoline. There are over 20 Mutations planned, each playable on all L4D2 Campaigns. Mutations are exclusively available to owners of "The Passing" DLC. In addition, "The Passing" of…

Not only has that fort you built out of old Dr Pepper bottles been the showpiece of your living space, but now you can have it work for you. Remember that partnership with EA? Starting tomorrow, you can use one of those bottles' cap to access some Battlefield: Bad Company 2 DLC: the Kit Upgrade. The add-on spices up each class in the cosmetic department, providing new looks for each outfit and specific camouflaged weaponry. Outside of the updated garb and stealthy guns, the update also includes 12 new awards and four Achievements. In North America, the DLC is only available via the Dr Pepper promotion. (In Europe, where the promotional partnership between EA and Dr Peppe…

  6. The latest Xbox Live Newsbeat update included release dates for two pieces of downloadable content that we didn't even know existed. We typically don't care for surprises, but we're willing to make an exception if it means we get more maps for the multiplayer component of BioShock 2 and more things to explode in Just Cause 2. On April 29, six new multiplayer maps will be added to BioShock 2 as part of the "Rapture Metro Map Pack." For 800 ($10), players get the new arenas, three new masks, a "Kill 'Em Kindly" Melee deathmatch mode, and three new Achievements. Just Cause 2 will receive the "Black Market Aerial Pack," a 160 ($2) booster which adds the chaingun-toting F-33 D…

Halo Reach Beta is not less than a week away, and i decided to make a montage. At first i was going to make it just me, but i figured i would make a section for other people. Finally, i decided that if i got enough videos from here i could make some type of Gamercide Reach Montage. So get me your clips as soon as possible, Bungie can pull the plug whenever they get enough data. If you cant file share them to me then i will post here some other way i can get your clips. Post here if you are interested, and when you have a video either send me an xbox message (with file share attachment if possible) or post here.

Gray Matter author and adventure game veteran Jane Jensen is happy to see Gray Matter coming to the Xbox 360: “With the Xbox 360 release, Gray Matter can reach a broader audience, especially people who don’t play PC games very often. I’m very excited to see Gray Matter expanding to other platforms” , she said. Gray Matter will be the first new full-size adventure game by the famous adventure author since the release of Gabriel Knight 3. Staying true to the Jensen-style, the story interweaves gruesome incidents and supernatural events. The Xbox 360 version of Gray Matter will be released simultaneously with the PC version in Q4 2010. The game’s control system has been adj…

  14. Whatcha think? I think it looks really good, and interesting. Treyarch hasn't had a nice track record with fans though. Since Infinity Ward has pretty much disbanded. It's up to them to make a decent Call Of Duty.

Hands-On with the Halo: Reach Beta Since 2001, I’ve been an avid Halo fan, and some might say, a little too addicted to the entire Halo franchise. Luckily, I’ve been fortunate enough to play the Halo: Reach beta before the general public gets access to it via Halo 3: ODST. Strap your boots on; it’s going to be a hell of a ride! Character Customization Once the Reach menu was shining in all of its glory on my TV, I couldn’t think straight what I immediately wanted to do. Customize my character? Matchmaking? The Arena? I needed to make myself a unique Spartan, so I first headed off to customize my Spartan III. The UI for customizing your Spartan has drastically changed and …

Anyone tried this? I like it so far! I am going to keep messing around with it. I have not been into a racing game since RC Pro AM (NES) and F-Zero (SNES). I like how you can call down disasters and events that change the race. I know nothing about the mulitplayer yet. I have not tried blur but Split Second felt really fun and I can only imagine the full game being even better.

I mean wow! this game is way better then i thought. Once you get past the dated (lets face it, EXTREMELY dated) graphics, the strategy and massive amounts of tinkering you can do with this game means you'll be dropping massive amounts of time into it. I'm even missing a good portion of the reach beta because i can't put this addictive game down. If you're into the strategy or rpg style games ,Chris, you'll love this game.
