Winner receives a full licensed copy of FRAPS! http://www.fraps.com I want to hold a contest. I'm a user and very big supporter of Fraps. If you haven't heard of it, it's a program used to monitor frame rate, take benchmarks, take screen shots, and even record video of your games and/or desktop. I've had a licensed copy of their program for years now, and I have come to respect them for their dedication to their customers. They always prom…

I got 99 problems, but a forum ain't one! That's right, the Gamercide forum is back up and running! And man does it feel good to be back. Thanks Spawn for all the work you have put into creating this and donators for funding this amazing place! So let's start off this forum right. I'm hosting a contest for 1600 MS Points. Here's the details and rules: Contest starts April 1 and ends May 1 at 11:59 PSTOne entry per memberAll countries applicableTo enter, simply post something about yourself so new and returning members know a little about you. [Trying to prevent something just like "Here's my post"] Ex.: Hey I'm Bogey, I really enjoy Halo.Winner will be selected using a ra…

I have a card for one month of LIVE. Anyone need it? First post gets it. Easy as that.

So apparently the makers of Deadliest Warrior liked my review (http://gamercide.org/?p=1573). Chris sent them a message talking about and linking to my review, and they sent him FOUR code's to download the game, to be used for contests and whatnot. I will be holding a contest here for two of them, and Chris will hold one with the others sometime later on. Now, onto the contest. All you have to do to enter, is post your favorite method of dispatching your enemies. The winners will be chosen using random.org. The contest will end on Wednesday, July 28th. Enjoy! I highly recommend this game if anyone wants to just buy it, too, maybe after the contest is over. For only 800 MS…

Hey boys and girls, holy crap did I get some crappy merch this year! And YOU can win it! Yes sir! First up, Inflatable Dead Space 2 Plasma Cutter! Holy hell that is a crappy looking gun! Take it in the pool with you and have fun. Next up: Comic Jumper T-Shirt I won this from Microsoft for coming in THIRD place in a Hydro Thunder contest! THIRD! My shame is your reward. You won't find this ugly mofo anywhere else. It's hideous! All you have to do is post here saying 'Hot damn this is the crappiest contest ever!' or some variation like that! Contest ends Friday August 6th. Who knows, there might be some other cool stuff in this package, maybe some stuff that's not crappy …

Hey everyone, this contest will be for any $5 xbox live arcade game (because that's really all I can afford at the moment). All you have to do it pick an alternate character for me to play in Super Street Fighter 4 (Character List). Whichever character gets the most votes will be my alt. All I ask is that you keep the character C tier and up, and please no Ryu or Ken (Tier List). Gen is also exempt from the contest because he is my main. Don't feel the need to pick a top tier, just pick someone who looks/plays to your liking. The contest will end next Friday at around this time. Once the contest is closed I will use a random generator to select a winner. EDIT: If you real…

Laaaaaaadies and Gentlemen! Prepare to be amazed! Prepare to be astounded. Prepare to laugh immensely at the ridiculousness of AwkwardStockPhotos.com! Gamercide's August contest is as follows: - Head to link above, or click here if you're LAZY, and find a picture. Any picture. There are pages and pages of options to choose from. - Pick your favorite and paste it into this thread, along with a caption (just text is fine underneath your post). It doesn't have to be Photoshopped or altered in any way unless you'd like, but this is not a contest of creativity. Simply posting a picture in this thread along with a quick caption is your entry for this month's contest…

Got a code from the lovely bs angel. God love her. Tell me in seven words or less, why it should go to you. Seven words or less. (inoucwutididthar) I'll choose a winner on Friday, sometime during the night.

The lovely and extremely wonderful bs angel (follow her on the Twitters!), has given us another helmet code. To win this one, you'll need to use some MSPaint skills. Nothing too hard. Just put a Halo character into a ballet tutu. That's it! Since I'll be using a random number generator, you can even just post two images. One of a character, and another of a tutu. Just add in a plus (+) sign or something. Appropriate tutu Doing it wrong Contest ends Wednesday night.

I am thankful that you guys are my amigos, so I am giving. Hence, the Thanksgiving Giveaway. Up for grabs: 1 year subscription to OXM (Official Xbox Magazine - no DVD). Here's how you enter: - Make a four line rap about a game you are currently into. Ex: Five-shottin, head poppin', Reach baby, ain't no stoppin'. I'm comin' with it, you comin' for it, plenty to go around, now watch my Banshee orbit. Nothing too complex needed, just looking for creativity. The winner will be chosen with a random number generator coded by muah. Rules of Entry: - You can enter as many times as you want, but you will only count as one entry. - Contest opened until Friday, Nov. 12th at 11:59 …

It's the same as what I have on my avatar at the time of this posting(and will probably have on until at least the contest is over), note that its treated as an outfit, so you can't mix and match with other stuff besides props. Just post to enter and the winner will be picked at around Monday at 1PM eastern time I suppose, unless there aren't many entries by then.

EDIT I've decided to scrap this contest and roll all my prizes over to the Gamercide Giveaway. I would still love to see the streamers who volunteered stream and promote the giveaway instead of this contest. Get the word out! CLICK HERE FOR THE GAMERCIDE GIVEAWAY POST Ok, so, I went a little overboard and bought a bunch of games from Steam. I decided it would be a good time to put together a giant stream related giveaway. JTV will be the best platform since random users can come in and we can now allow stream access to anyone on the channel. We can promote our portal while doing so, but JTV will be hosting grounds for this largely due to the much more controlled cha…

Iv'e gotta an extra code if any one wants it. Ignition

I have a code for a set of Isaac Clarke Dragon Age 2 armor, I'm not going to use it, and I figured at least I could do was give it away to someone on Gamercide. I'm not too sure if anyone would have been interested in this, so I didn't think of some big contest. If you're interested in the code, post here, and I'll PM the code to you. Here is a video for the armor: <object width="853" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFbfxINhjIg?fs=1&hl=en_US&hd=1"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFbfxINhjIg?fs=1&hl=en_US&hd=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true">&lt…
