Sorry for my absence around here the past week. I broke my tailbone in a rather blonde manner and have not been able to sit down for about a week...well comfortably anyway. I had some PM's while I was gone and I haven't been ignoring you, just trying to get my rear end feeling better, lol. Yes I am butt hurt, laugh it up.

I just submitted my last paper ever for my undergraduate college career. I turned in my last lab report I'll ever write for UNC again at noon. I have one more final and then I'm done with UNC and probably college for forever. I don't know what to do with myself right now.

So. My internet's been acting up lately (Comcast sucks) and I did a speedtest which showed about 3Mbps down, 10Mbps up (I usually only get 4-6 up, too). Annoying when I usually get about 25-35 down/4-6 up. However, a few minutes ago I restarted the router and got THIS result. Wow lol. Now if it would stay like this that would be amazing, but über fast speeds don't matter when the connection isn't reliable. Here's hoping that things clear up.

In case you guys haven't been listening to this podcast, you're missing out. The easiest way to sum this up is "Monty Python skits twinged with Eldritch horror" http://commonplacebooks.com/welcome-to-night-vale/ ENJOY THE SHIT OUT OF THIS, SERIOUSLY. It has been eating my morning drives, evening drives, all the drives. So good, so.. so good. Also please be aware that today I'm exempt from all laws. My horoscope told me so.

After about 30 hours of wiping the hard drive and doing a system restore...three times, and a couple of remote viewing sessions with Rincon on my lappy, we've determined that the mobo's shot. Well this really sucks, but I have had that lappy for a long time, so I guess I got my use out of it. Well, I grabbed my wife's lappy to make this post, and I think she read the writing on the wall, that there would have to be a sharing of the computer. "Alright, you can get a new one if you put it on your Best Buy card". I didn't even ask! This happened while I was still in party chat with Rincon, and he said: "She said that?" "Yup" "You'd better get moving...before she changes h…

... that I have ever lost a game save... The game, Batman Arkham City. Awesome game but apparently for the 360 and PC there is a killer bug that will cause game saves to disappear. Well this will NOT happen again.

This sounds like incredible fun, especially if alcohol is involved. The long version: (worth the read) The short version: Werewolf“Werewolf is a simple game for a large group of people (seven or more.) It requires no equipment besides some bits of paper; you can play it just sitting in a circle. I’d call it a party game, except that it’s a game of accusations, lying, bluffing, second-guessing, assassination, and mob hysteria.” – Andrew Plotkin

Just wondering what you guys/gals are getting your kids or spouses or signifigant others this year, 3 of my kids are getting Kindle Fire HDs and my oldest son is getting an ASUS TF300T although he thinks he is gettng a kindle and isnt happy about it. I got my wife a new Garmin running watch as for me I am saving up to by a shotgun or maybe another rifle after christmas. I moved into a new apt last week, and the rent is higher than what I was paying. So, sadly I must start cooking dinner every night rather than my once or twice a week I had going on. What are some of your go to recipe dinners?

What are some of your irrational fears? For me? Spiders. I am so terrified of spiders I can't even look at pictures of them or I'll get upset. In person? Forge it, I freeze up and go paralyzed mode. I also may cry like a *****.

He briefly praised all of us for the success we had achieved in our industry and congratulated us for being selected as part of this small group of “decision makers”. At this point I begin to feel slightly uncomfortable at the strangeness of this gathering. The subject quickly changed as the speaker went on to tell us that the respective companies we represented had invested in a very profitable industry which could become even more rewarding with our active involvement. He explained that the companies we work for had invested millions into the building of privately owned prisons and that our positions of influence in the music industry would actually impact the profitabi…

If you participate in this thread/experiment, you are agreeing to be my test subject. This is a no spam thread. I am only going to give you the subject of the experiment, Phobos. What happens next, will be your own research and knowledge. I am not going to lead you in any way, other than the subject. The more people who put an hour or so into this, the better. I'd like to see what a collection of people can come up with. This is not for any class or government study. Just something I wanted to try. Once it concludes, I'll explain why I wanted it done this way. Until this experiment concludes, I will not be posting again in this thread.

I think this may have been thrown around before. More and more lately I have been thinking about wanting to open up an "arcade." But not your typical arcade. I'm talking a place to go play Xbox 360 console games (maybe PSN too idk), in little setup living areas. I don't even know how this idea would work. I just think it would be so cool, and a totally kick a$$ job!! What do ya'll think? Would it even work?? Ideas or knocks back into reality? lol

Set her up with a nice bubble bath. Played some lovely music for her, lit some candles and turned the lights down low. She deserves all of it for putting up with me! Happy Valentines! Straight up stolen from Reddit, naturally.

It'd be pretty awesome if you ask me. Found this on a site that will not be named, but these are mock up action figures I guess. I would totally want to play a new, more mature, MegaMan game. Would be sweeeeet.

This is beautiful. Creeped me the heck out when Neptune and Jupiter showed up. Kind of sad that they didn't include Saturn, Uranus and Pluto though. <br><br> <iframe src=http://player.vimeo.com/video/19231255 width="640" height="480" frameborder="0"></iframe><p><a href=" from <a href="http://vimeo.com/bradgoodspeed">Brad Goodspeed</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>
