So my sister set this up a few days ago. While donations are accepted/appreciated, I would definitely appreciate it a whole lot if some of you who use Facebook would spread this around and/or post this on your walls and encourage others to possibly do the same. Her bone marrow transplant is going to be coming up soon and the cost of the 24/7 care while she is in isolation is going to pretty much bankrupt us. Money doesn't mean a whole lot to me, but my mom definitely does. Thanks guys and much love to you all. https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/d1d3/amy-leach-s-multiple-myeloma-fund

Ladies and Gentlemen. I'd like you to meet Forthman Murff. The following is taken from MentalFloss.com, and it's a crazy story. Forthman Murff was a lifelong lumberjack who claimed he was personally responsible for cutting down 1,900 acres of timber. In May of 1984, at the age of 74, Murff was cutting down a tree by himself near his home in Gattman, Mississippi, when a branch fell from 80 feet up and hit him in the shoulder. The blow knocked him into a 10-foot ditch. Soon another branch fell and broke his left leg and foot. Murff was briefly knocked unconscious and when he woke up, he could hear and feel his still-running chainsaw burrowing straight across his neck. Th…

So my TV came with two pairs of these: They are boring. Passive 3D glasses, two lenses polarized differently to allow you to see a 3D image. Same exact design as the glasses you get from the movie theater, of which I still have two pairs (after throwing away the horde that I had since I never throw them away). These steampunky goggles are eight bucks and some change: They look awesome. The lenses can also be replaced: My plan: take a pair of the cheapy theater glasses, remove the lenses, and cut them into the right size to fit into the goggles. The lenses appear to be a thin film, so it shouldn't be too complicated. Projected result: Creating a more awesome looki…

I am writing this to you to enlighten you on my recent experience with your company. I know you receive letters like this every day and will shrug this one off as well, but humor me and hear me out anyhow. I recently moved to the new Orleans area after getting accepted at a local university. I was told that my only options for cable and internet would be through Cox, and I was a little upset because your reputation precedes you. I have heard nothing good from people who have had to deal with your company, and well now I can understand why. I figured I would give your company the benefit of the doubt and called to have service set up. A man named David would be my first …

http://www.abc6.com/story/28765750/soldier-from-ma-killed-in-afghanistan I just want his story to be a little different. Me and him had been close friends for years. We had pretty much every class together through high school, spent a ton of time together before he left for the military. He was an amazing guy and it's just incredibly sad to know that he's gone from something so stupid. Here's a few pictures of us. Sadly most of them are from 2012 or so, but these are some of the fondest memories I have with him. http://imgur.com/a/OimFX

Apps that broadcast your location to every damn social media site. Apps like 4 square. I've warned people on Twitter about it a few times. Today was the most recent. It fell on deaf ears. It always does. Don't take my word for it, though. Just Google search "4 Square, robberies". I'm seriously not liking this generation. It's all about me, me, me. You need to know what game I am playing right now (Raptr) and where I'm at every second of the day. Why? Because I'm that interesting! No. No you are not. You really are not. No one cares, trust me. For the love of Deity, please consider what I've just said, and stop spamming social media. But PK, 4 Square could help you if you …

So, I've been really busy the last few weeks trying to get everything in order to buy a new Supra. I spent a good while going back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to spend the money or not. I finally called the guy up and we agreed on a price. Since then I've been working hard to get all my ducks in a row. The car is in Toronto, Canada so I had to get CAD currency out, rush my new passport, figure out all the importation laws, get insurance, and a temporary tag. Not to mention finding a one way flight into Toronto. All of that is done now, finally. I'll be leaving early Saturday morning and coming back with this: 1982 Toyota Celica Supra w/ 7MGTE swap @ …

The doctors have said yesterday that theres nothing else they can do for my sister. They were trying to get her counts back down to try the bone marrow again, but it just wasn't happening. She has 80% blasts in her blood, and terrible sores on her body. Doctors said it could be 24 hours to 2 weeks. Please pray for my sister? I know prayer works and God can intervene.

I ended up being nearly fully sleeved. And did the roses on the outer arm instead of inner forearm. Later we are going to go back and add bright colorful butterflies to give it some pops of color. But I actually love how black and grey roses look, so thats why I went with that. Well its still really sore and redish. But I couldn't wait to share!! So here's the pics... So, whatcha think??

Just got this tattoo yesterday, was wondering what you guys thought. I personally love the way it turned out! I was real nervous beforehand. And I have to say, despite everyone telling me getting them done isn't bad, this hurt a lot more than I expected it to lol.

Haha, nice title? Didja say, "huh?!" So last night Shane and I went to our tattoo artists to talk about the tattoo we will be getting soon. Shane will be starting his next Saturday, mine is still up in the air, my guy is really busy, and may have jury duty (yeah right! lol). Well the lady that does my piercings is also there. She now does (idk what to call it...) jewelry under the skin. I have been wanting to do this for AGES!!!! So I did last night, finally!! Well it just so happens that somehow my poor unicorn tattoo never got an eyeball lol, so thats what I got. Now he has an eyeball. So I wanted to share the pics. Here's his eyepatch: And the reveal! …

This is likely not interesting to some, but it was cool they grabbed him. Shut the plant down for a weekend while they filmed it. Looks like he will be directing and starring in these commercials for the next couple of years.

http://www.masterofmalt.com/vodka/100000-scovilles-naga-chilli-vodka/ Good lord, I really want to try this or at least have it around for conversation/torture of guests. I can't bring myself to spend the ~$80 (for the bottle plus shipping to the U.S.) but I'm going to bookmark the page for a future purchase.

http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,2371219,00.asp?kc=ETRSS02129TX1K0000532 NASA Ames Director Simon "Pete" Worden announced that the organization has begun work on a joint project with DARPA to develop a "Hundred Year Starship" that could ferry humans to Mars—in one direction. Kind of hard to fathom we're getting to a point where this is a possibility and maybe even something that will happen in our lifetimes.
