So apparently the big man upstairs decided to take a giant dump all over most of New York state. We got 18" of snow last night (some local areas reporting up to 26"). I've been up since 5:10AM this morning shoveling, and we still couldn't make it out of our driveway. Coy tried to gun it into the completely snowcovered street and got stuck, so it took another half hour of digging the car out and pushing it back up into the driveway. The plows haven't even TOUCHED our street so it's impossible, even with a set of four snow tires on our car. A forthcoming Justice Department report on the Ferguson Police Department has found that city officials engage in practices that discriminate against black residents and routinely violate the Constitution and federal law, according to officials familiar with the results of the investigation. The formal report, expected to be released Wednesday, largely blames the Missouri city for breeding mistrust of the police through its policies. Wife bought me an electric smoker for Fathers Day (2 cats = Daddy. lol) It's a cabinet style and all stainless steel with casters for easy location/relocation. Any hints/recipes you can slide my way would be appreciated as I am a complete novice and don't want to waste too many cuts. I have bought the Jack Daniels wood chips and apple wood chunks to start off with. It comes with Hickory but I have read that Hickory can be overpowering. Anybody have any fave woods or cuts of meat to share?

So I made a post awhile back about Ash going to a special school now. She's still studying to be in the vet field. SHE MADE THE HONOR ROLL!!! She has a grade point average of 3.25. This is the first time EVER for her. She is doing so good! A month ago, due to her good grades we paid for drivers ed and drivers training ($350 bucks!).
