Gearbox Software's loot-centric first-person shooter Borderlands recently got an update, one that added Steam achievements and new hardware support. That update also may have laid out, in extreme, spoiler-filled detail, the next downloadable expansion for Borderlands. According to contributors to Gearbox's online forums, that new Borderlands patch featured a folder chock full of potential details about the future of the game. The next expansion—the follow-up to The Secret Armory of General Knoxx—appears to be heavy on Claptraps. You know, those unicycling robotic helpers with the funny voices? I found this pretty cool, you can make your own Villager and if you pre-order Fable 3, that character will appear in the game. ... but I'm back into FALLOUT 3!!! .. and I'm still playing God of War 3 .. this is a classic Sophie's choice. .. Ya, 'cause my life is so hard that I'm comparing playing video games in my air conditioned apartment, sitting in my grundies drinking beer, to figuring out which one of my children the Nazis are going to kill. Oh how will I ever decide?

After I beat Chapter 7 and got back to Guardians Colony, my character said something about going back to my room, so I did, but nothing happened. It is like the storyline has stopped. All I can seem to do are free missions. What do I need to do to progress in the storyline?

From 1Up I don't like it. What's to stop a griefer from attacking a posse, and letting them kill him 6 times? Won't hurt him. He'll be able to transport safely away. Meanwhile, that posse who was doing a hideout, now has the Marshals after them. This will be abused, I think. Wish they went in a different direction with this. We have been griefed before, and taught them a lesson by killing them over and over, after they shot us in the back at hideouts.

Just bought this game earlier today and played for about 10 minutes. I'm not sure what to think yet, but I'll be streaming it sometime soon. It's too messed up not to share.

For those of you who have played it, whats your thoughts on the Beta? I think it tries too hard to be an exact clone (or close to) Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2. Its somewhat fun, and I prefer it over Modern Warfare 2 (which doesn't mean much), but I feel its a little bland, it got boring pretty fast. Bogey and I have came to the conclusion that it sucks ***.

Both games got pretty good ratings, with the first pulling in a 8/10 and the second receiving a 8.5/10. They're horror games, and best experienced at nightime with the lights dimmed and the sound cranked up. Prey was, in my opinion, the most underrated 360 game to date. It's also my opinion, that it was before its time. Prey had you walking on the ceiling, via anti-gravity trails. It had you using portals, long before Valve introduced them to us. Prey even has you picking up living creatures, and using them as weapons. It was more than just a creepy shooter with aliens. Downloaded the demo. After playing through it for 20 minutes I up and bought the full game. Karen said it best: "It's like Diablo meets The Tick." Plus it has 2 player local co-op. We'll be playing to together soon. So. Much. Fun.
