Geez! Rockband 3 is going to be expensive!! It's fun but who can afford it all? I have some things but I am still using the Rock Band 1 Drums and Guitar lol. Game Disc + Keyboard: $129.99 Rockband 3 Drums + Cymbals: $129.99 , Cymbals alone are $39.99 Pro Guitar: $150 (don't need it but looks awesome) MIDI PRO adapter $39.99 (probably need if using pro guitar) This is getting ridiculous lol! I could buy a real guitar and start my own real rockband for cheaper Source

Just got this from Gamefly this past Friday and have sank about 9 hours into it so far. Interesting game. It's definitely not a AAA title for sure. The graphics aren't spectacular (lots of jagged edges on textures in some places) and I dislike next-gen RPGs that can't be bothered to have voice-acted lines for people (sucks to read text-boxes all the time). It's hard to describe really. It's definitely a tactical RPG of sorts and KIND of turn-based. You have three characters in your party and the combat sequences are all about shooting your guns and jumping around and stuff. The combat is TOUGH though. Not all of it is, but sometimes a simple fight can turn into an…

  7. Well, I know we all take magazine ratings with a grain of salt, but Game Informer's latest issue has reviewed Red Dead Redemption at 9.75. I read it and it has me pretty excited. Concept Transpose the Grand Theft Auto gameplay template onto a Wild West setting Graphics Breathtaking scenery, unrivaled horse animations, and vastly improved cinematic cutscenes over GTA IV make this the best-looking Rockstar game to date Sounds From pitch-perfect gunshots to the daunting rumble of prairie thunderstorms, the remarkable attention to audio detail brings the world to life Playability The airtight aiming and cover system will be familiar to anyone who's played GTA IV, and the hors…

  9. Still launching on August 18th, but without its much touted co-op. That will come in early September. Right around the same time Steam and PSN gets the game. *edit* Correction. The same exact day PSN and Steam gets the game. Sept 28th. Wow. [source Joystiq & 1up]

  15. OddWorld: Stranger's Wrath was originally an Xbox exclusive. It's being re-released, but at this time it will only be on the PS3. Do you find this odd? According to the developer, Just Add Water, it's not because they don't WANT to give 360 users some OddWorld lovin'. Microsoft at this time has a 2GB limit for XBLA titles, and right now the game is weighing in at a hefty 2.1GB which places it outside the box of a XBLA release. "Currently the title weighs in at 2.1GB and that is without any updates, so either we have to pull a miracle out of the bag with some type of amazing compression system, or ask Microsoft to increase their 2GB limit, however this limit is apparen…

Square Enix has decided to delay the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the ambitious cyberpunk shooter in development at Eidos Montréal. Originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2011, the Deus Ex launch has been pushed into the Japanese publisher's next fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012. According to a corporate announcement, the delay will allow Eidos more time to "further polish" the project. The demand for greater quality isn't unprompted, as the news came alongside a revision to the company's consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending MArch 31, 2011. Forecast net sales were lowered from 160 billion yen to 130 bill…

Soooo.... Karen (KayJKay) and I wound up getting the Beatles Rock Band bundle (game, drums, guitar and mic) along with Rock band 2 and Rock Band 3 today. EVERY place had the keyboard sold out so that'll be a future purchase. I was wondering who all had Rock Band 3 and if there was any interest in getting together at certain times to goof around. Hit me up on XBL as CAPTAIN C0NCUSSI0N or give me a PM.

  22. Did you buy a shiny new 360 Slim? Did you try to save a bit of loot and sprung for the 4GB version since you can use USB sticks for extra memory? Well don't try to play Halo: Reach's Co-Op Campaign! The new 360Slim 4GB version does NOT have a hard drive. Essentially it just has a 4GB memory unit inside of it. So what is the problem? If you have one of these consoles and attempt it you will get the following error: "One or more players do not have a hard drive which is required for this playlist". According to the Microsoft official support page, which has been recently updated to reflect this problem, the following reason is given: "One or more players do not have a c…

Bethesda public relations sent out emails today explaining that Prey 2 isn't cancelled. Development of Prey 2 has not been cancelled but the game will not be released in 2012 as planned. The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards. Prey 2 has shown great promise and we regret disappointing our fans. We have made a substantial investment in game development to deliver the experience fans want. We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.

  24. Too funny!!! They have back peddled on nearly every single policy they have made since announcing the xbone. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/08/12/xbox-one-no-longer-requires-kinect-to-function They are still shipping Kinect with the system but I bet there is one more final 180. The one where they make a version that does not come with Kinect at all for $100 cheaper to put themselves in-line with the PS4 pricing. 180 marketing at its finest!
