if you've updated to the latest Firefox you may have noticed that the status bar (at bottom) is completely missing. I like having it (social media apps etc) and I went on a search to see if I could add it in, or restore it. I found this -- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/ Now it is back and I am happy. Status restored. =)

I would greatly appreciate it if someone was gracious enough to provide me a 48 Hour Code for XBL. I haven't played online in a great while now due to fiscal contraints and time commitments, but I was hoping to maybe hop online and play some Halo 3 if anybody was up for that. So, if anybody doesn't mind parting with a 48 Hour Code, just let me know because it would seriously make my weekend!

my sister bought a 40 inch samsung to game on. i guess some folks told her she had to have 120 hz to play games on, so she ponied up for one that did. she says her 360 is only kicking out 60 hz and since she dropped the cash, she wants it at 120. she says it's running 60 hz twice? i dunno. i have no idea about all that. can one of you give me a dummy explanation of what it is?

Anyone having trouble connecting to Xbox live on their console? I connect to the internet no problem but my console will not connect to live. First time I have ever had this issue too.

I just ordered a new pc and I thought it was a damn good deal, but some of my friends are trying to tell me they could build a better one for less. I got this for around $680 delivered after my discount. I looked through fry's and newegg trying to get the best deal and found I couldn't even buy the parts this comes with for that price. As an individual grinding his gears in college... Im curious as to if MMO games are worth the time and money spent playing. I already have limited time to play any game, let alone one that never ends! However, I am a huge KOTOR fan and they decided to switch their game play to MMO for their new title... how fun are these things?

We have a good cam that plugs into our computer. It also has a cam built in but we don't want to use that anymore. how do we use the cam corder instead of the cam built in? Everytime we start up jtv it just uses the built in cam where do we go to change it? We are using a mac book pro. anyone know?

So today when I got back from school my internet wasn't working. My desktop said it was connected to the network but not the internet. I tried powercycling the modem/router, running Windows troubleshooting, rebooting both PCs, and using the Shaw (My ISP) support download. None of them worked. So when I got back from work it still wasn't working and I decided to phone Shaw support. I sat on hold for nearly two hours before someone came on, told me to plug the modem directly into the computer, and once she verified I had internet access told me it was not Shaw's problem and I need to phone Lynksis (who makes my router). Ok, so my problem is I'm on HDMI with my Xbox. When I'm on the dashboard, streaming videos/music, doing pretty much anything, the audio is perfectly fine. But as soon as I put in a DVD to watch a movie, the audio cuts out. Does anyone have any clue as to why that may be? I have an Xbox 360 S if that helps at all.

Does anyone know why my laptop would go un-responsive everytime I try to watch a video on youtube??? Its really highly annoying.... EDIT: The popup I get asks if I wanna stop running this script. It says a script on the page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. And that if it continues to run my computer may become unresponsive. It becomes unresponsive immediately after I click on the desired video.

Hi All, I don't really know where to look, and am having a small issue on my work computer which is a mac. I have a network account (on our server) and a local account on this computer. I created my local account today (while on my network account) and logged out to go to class and came back and I can't log into my network account on this computer only now. I have tried logging into it on other computers on our network but this one is not working. I can log into my local account, but for some reason after I created that account (as a safety precaution) I am no longer allowed to log into my network account on this computer. Anyone know of any good maintenance tools? Like to make sure your computer doesn't bog down. My computer is still really fast, but on start up it is slow. Ill look at running processes and certain programs are running that shouldn't be like my camera, itunes, etc. Why those just start up in the back ground is beyond me. Also PK if you don't mind sending me the link to that defrag program. I basically just want a program were i can just do routine maintenace quickly and easily. I run a full v scan every month as well as update, and use the defrag but defrag doesn't seem to do anything. I just like trying to keep my computer top notch. What is the software you use to remove the window frame from the outside of games when you play games?

Wierdest thing, my targus headset plugged in with fiber optic cable works with ps3 on everything but nba 2k13. Home, music, videos, even other games work fine, but the second that game starts no audio through headset. Any ideas?

Jason got me a tablet for Christmas; a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. It runs off of Android. My classes start on Monday and I completely forgot about my books and I went on Amazon and I found it's cheaper to order them as kindle books then to rent or get them as used texts. This is completely random, but after about 30 minutes of searching I'm not coming up with anything concrete. I sold something on eBay, and I'm shipping it as First Class mail. Which is essentially basic delivery, 2-5 days. In order to schedule pickup on the USPS website...it says you have to have at least one Priority or Express package (which I don't). In your guys experiences, if I leave the package in the mailbox ready to go, would it be likely to be picked up? The issue is I want to get it out tomorrow but as I work 7-3, I'll be unable to get to the post office during business hours. And I want to get the thing out.
