Wierdest thing, my targus headset plugged in with fiber optic cable works with ps3 on everything but nba 2k13. Home, music, videos, even other games work fine, but the second that game starts no audio through headset. Any ideas?

Are there options in game to change the audio settings (like stereo to 5.1, etc?)?

If not, have you tried adjusting the actual PS3 settings itself to maybe stereo FROM dolby 5.1?

Did both, game doesnt have settings like that, and its the ONLY thing that doesnt work. Music, movies, and other games are fine.

Fixed it by bypassing the issues all together. Got a new tv that had a fiber optic output. No more issues, and I don't have to switch the cable to use the headphones on both systems anymore.
