Poll is optional. My question is why can't I navigate to that part where you can see what all your favourites are doing? Instead I'm bombarded with posted videos from my favourites. Brass tacks, I want to see which of my favourites are broadcasting. Does anyone know where it is?

Quick question.. I run an OSX server here at work.. and it is saying my certificate has expired.. however I have not noticed any issues with running it with an expired certificate.. I tried researching what this certificate is and why it is important, how to renew etc.. however I am coming up with nothing. Anyone know anything about servers and these certificates?

Anyone know of any good maintenance tools? Like to make sure your computer doesn't bog down. My computer is still really fast, but on start up it is slow. Ill look at running processes and certain programs are running that shouldn't be like my camera, itunes, etc. Why those just start up in the back ground is beyond me. Also PK if you don't mind sending me the link to that defrag program. I basically just want a program were i can just do routine maintenace quickly and easily. I run a full v scan every month as well as update, and use the defrag but defrag doesn't seem to do anything. I just like trying to keep my computer top notch. So if anyone has some useful programs …

If you're like me and use many Firefox add-ons, you may have been surprised today, to find "Skipity" all over your damn browser. You've already looked in add-ons to remove it and couldn't find it. You've gone into View>Toolbars and didn't see it there, either. Here's how to remove Skipity: Go into Tools>Add-Ons and go right into "Download Youtube" and either disable it, or remove it. That's it. They've paired up with advertisers like Facebook and allowed it to incorporate into places all over your browser. I chose to remove it, since I don't see them changing their decision anytime soon. One last thing. F U Download Youtube. That was a dick move.

Hi All, I don't really know where to look, and am having a small issue on my work computer which is a mac. I have a network account (on our server) and a local account on this computer. I created my local account today (while on my network account) and logged out to go to class and came back and I can't log into my network account on this computer only now. I have tried logging into it on other computers on our network but this one is not working. I can log into my local account, but for some reason after I created that account (as a safety precaution) I am no longer allowed to log into my network account on this computer. I have been to system pref's and enabled all netw…

Does anyone know why my laptop would go un-responsive everytime I try to watch a video on youtube??? Its really highly annoying.... EDIT: The popup I get asks if I wanna stop running this script. It says a script on the page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. And that if it continues to run my computer may become unresponsive. It becomes unresponsive immediately after I click on the desired video.

My son's dinosaur of a laptop finally gave it up. We want to get him at least a half way decent new one for Christmas. I'm on a $300 - $400 budget...with a strong preference toward leaning to the $300 side. I do know ima have to pony up some cash for something more than mediocre, so if $400 is the number that works, then that's what I'll have to do. There's a Best Buy right down the road from my house, so I checked out what deals they have right now. I found a few in my range here. I haven't bought a lappy for a while, and I've never owned a pc, so any help or advice would be much appreciated.

You can remove them. It just takes a bit of know how and you'll soon have a dashboard free and clear of those lame WoW ads! Instructions, here http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/121/1214417p1.html Get used to this sort of thing since MS is finding more and more ways to stream ads directly to you and hopefully have you interacting with them (AKA spamming your friends)

Hey gang. What are some cool multiplayer games on the PC that you all are in to? Other than the obvious answers of the bigwig games like L4D2, TF2, etc. I'm looking for more interesting and abstract gaming ideas to stream. Show some love, give me ideas!

What's the biggest reason we keep the image and media objects to a minimum? For not as fast internet people? I just really want to be able to make my "Mega Threads" worth-while.

Well I moved into this house last year, and the dog they have now is the second one in a year. My neighbor on the other side said this will be the fifth dog they've had. My roommate said he knows they have had several dogs before also. He told me two years ago he had to throw a plastic bag full of water over the fence during the summer because they leave the dog out all the time and there wasn't any water. Now since I moved there the first dog I saw was a toy poodle, and you know those aren't out door dogs, but they left it outside all during the summer, and even left it out during night time during the winter when it got down to the teens. I know they dog had worms too s…

I googled this question and couldn't find the answer. And I have been pondering on it for the past few months, I've even asked friends and family and nobody can tell me the answer. The question is. Why do dogs have jagged lips? Not all of dogs might have this but I know my dog and five other dogs I looked at all had jagged lips. Almost reminds me of an alligator. If you have a dog look at his lips, he should have these jagged edges and I can't seem to figure out why they have these.

Alright my fellow streamers...I'll try to make this as simple as possible. I use my Xbox 360 through a VGA cord, hooked up to a 2 way pc monitor switch. I can switch between my laptop and xbox 360 through the push of a button. Now that's out of the way, what are the steps I would need to be able to stream and record through the VGA process. It's different than your typical Streaming. I should note as well, I own no capture device.

I'll probably shoot this question at Dat later on when he gets on Steam, but I figured I may as well post it up here too for now. So I have a spare 30GB Solid State Drive I'm not really using for anything setup as a secondary drive in my computer (I initially had my OS installed on it but found it to be too much of a hassle with such limited space and reformatted to my other HDD). I've been streaming lately and am noticing a fairly frequent, temporary dip in framerate that I still haven't found the source of, but could possibly be my hard drive (I have a 1TB HDD set as the C drive). I've been monitoring my six core CPU and it doesn't go beyond about 70% total/pe…

How many of you guys Dual Boot, of course in computers. I've just installed Ubuntu 10.4 (I believe thats the newest version) on my gameroom pc and old laptop that has broken hinges. I'm currently installing it on this laptop only since it's something I want to learn more about and also have just incase Windows goes crazy. FUN FACT: On my old laptop, with Windows installed, sound NEVER once came out of the laptop once I installed Linux/Ubuntu instantly had sound. Now, I cannot fix the hinges on the laptop nor do I care to but that's still pretty awesome.
