Hey everyone. I've ordered a Gameboy Advance game from the US (the game wasn't released in the UK where I live). I was wondering does anyone know if the game will work on my UK GBA? I know disks are region specific but I think the cartridges aren't I remember my N64 that was brough in Australia worked with games brought in the UK and so did my Gameboy color. Anyone know if this is the case or will I have to buy a cheap US GBA? Any help would be most appreciated.

Did anyone else? This same thing happened to my son some months ago. The email doesn't explain why, either. Just says "subject Enjoy 400 points on us". The email also gives some help in spending your new points. Mostly avatar stuff, but also XBLA and Zune movies etc.

So I used to have VS 2008 running on Vista, but upgraded to Windows 7 about nine months ago and just re-installed VS. When I go to run my code without debugging, the command window opens literally for half of a second and then closes so I can't do any user-prompted commands. What's going on and how can I fix it since this didn't occur on Vista \o/ Edit: Nevermind, found the problem.

Alright, I have recently become involved with Little Big Planet and it's absolutely amazing level creator. I have played around with it for a bit, and have decided to actually get serious and try to produce my own level. What I have done, was create a Blueprint in Photoshop explaining the early stages of the level. The blueprint contains information on mostly everything so you won't be lost and all like "What the hell does that mean?" More updates are to come, but this is what the level looks like right now. So last semester for CompSci I had to program the classic boardgame, Battleship. Pretty basic and nothing too complicated since it only had to be played by users and no AI components. Well out of boredom today, I started making an AI algorithm so a player could play against the computer. Six hours later, the AI structure is complete and ready to be tested. Turns out the human player only has 0.27% chance of winning against the computer. My AI is too smart, fail.

Game X Change really rips people off, out of curiosity, I asked how much they would buy a mint condition Guitar Hero 5 Guitar for, they said $22, a lousy $22. Now, if you buy one brand new at say like Wal-Mart, it costs $80, so they are only giving you a 4th of the full price you paid. That is ridiculous right?

No, this isn't really life advice, but it's advice needed nonetheless. My 360s disc drive is done, nada, broken, pointless, etc. and my console is out of warranty. So, my options are either (a) repair it myself if possible, (b)Pay for the repair with Xbox Support © Get a new console. Advice needed, go!

Full one month trial to gamefly instead of the usual 14 days..... great service to try out, been using it eversince 2006 and get to play any two games i want for about 25 bucks a month. I literally just had the best weekend of my life. I went to a music festival called Oxegen where you camp for 4 days. It pissed rain for the first 3 days and the last day was unreal. I got front row for Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine and Jay Z and went to Muse and Black Eyed Peas and they were EPIC.
