  3. I went for my first day of college at Columbia College in Sonora, CA. It wasn't too bad. I'm only going part time doing English 1A and Algebra II (the graduation/degree requirements that I tested into on the assessment test). I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I may or may not be around as much. It will mostly be my streaming time that goes down a bit. I forgot how evil homework was...

  6. So I got my first tattoo ever. I've been talking about it for what seems like ten years now, and I finally went and had it done. It isn't finished yet, still needs some touch up work and a few more additions, but I was swollen up like crazy and bleeding a bit so it will take more than one session. But here are a few blurrycam pics of what is finished so far. I'll try to take a picture of the castle on the back on my arm, bit of a bitch trying to hold the camera to do it lol.

  7. It’s Not A High-Speed Police Chase Until Deep Fryers Come Flying Out Of The Escape Vehicle [Consumerist] You might’ve think you’ve heard about an intense, high-speed police chase, but you’d be wrong. Or at least you thought you knew what intense was, before reading that one particular police showdown had deep fryers flying out the back of a suspect’s truck. Deep fryers! Flying! It’s too much excitement to bear on a Friday, but let’s forge ahead, shall we? KHOU.com has the story out of Houston, where four men were allegedly part of a team that burgled a kitchen supply store late Wednesday night. Perhaps there was a dire need for cutlery or a lot of fried chicken, bec…

Walmart Flasher Flees After Female Victim Strikes Him In "Exposed Genitals" - The Smoking Gun A man pretending to be a Walmart employee exposed himself to a female shopper who “immediately reacted by striking the Suspect in his exposed genitals,” California police report. The victim told cops that she was inside a Walmart Supercenter in Anderson, a city in northern California, when she was approached by the suspect. The woman initially thought the man was a worker since he was “pointing out where items were located in the store,”according to the Anderson Police Department. “The Suspect then asked the Victim to look at something and exposed his genitals to the Victim…

Pinellas County, Florida -- A man stole a large amount of cat food from Walmart that he said he planned to sell to his friend with 300 cats. Officers responded to the Walmart on Us Highway 19 North in Clearwater to investigate a shoplifting case involving cat food. Loss prevention staff had detained James Lawlor for loading up a shopping cart full of cat food and then walking to his car without paying. Lawlor explained to officers that he had done this in the past and that he steals the cat food to sell in what he calls "hustling." Lawlor also said he has a friend with 300 cats and he sells the food to him and others. Lawlor was arrested and transported to the Pine…

  10. There are three important features that make Burger King in Japan a very different experience: apples, booze, and couches, or ABC. Apples? Yes, Burger King has brought back their limited-time apple burgers in Japan, which feature grilled apple slices instead of tomatoes. Are they any good? There are two burgers available with apple: The BK Ringo, a small burger that features one apple slice and cinnamon mayonnaise, and the NY Whopper, a larger sandwich with two apple slices and hollandaise sauce. “Ringo” is Japanese for “apple,” and has nothing to do with any famous drummers. The NY Whopper concept comes from the vaguely NYC-ish theme that Burger King is using to market…

There is a casino in Atlantic City who is celebrating all things bacon this week with "...Bacon milkshakes. Chocolate-covered bacon shaped like roses. Bacon-flavored toothpaste, dental floss and lip balm. Bacon bourbon, margaritas, beer and vodka. Bacon ice cream sundaes. A BLT sandwich with a full pound of bacon." There is also ".....chocolate covered pretzels with crumbled bacon bits; chocolate-drizzled potato chips with bacon, two kinds of pasta dishes with bacon, bacon cupcakes, and bacon wrapped around a fake green stem to form roses, which were then dipped in chocolate." I like bacon and all during Sunday breakfast, on a cheeseburger, potatoes, or grilled ham and…

Winner of DLC Quest #1 Congratulations, LG! Please send me a PM with your email. Thank you. Winner of Valdis Story: Abyssal City #1 Congratulations, Antoinette. I will trade you that game over Steam since it is in my inventory there. Now for some explanations on why only a few names were in the drawing when it looked like more than three had entered. Some already had both games but wanted to make a funny post anyways. I was totally cool with that. Another had just won another giveaway and he wanted to make a post as well. All good. Since there were only three, I'm going to make sure all my contestants win something. Keep your eyes and ears open, Dateranoth. =)…

It’s always a bit of a shocking event when the lion and the lamb go quietly walking around together like they’re meant to be together. Which is why it’s a bit of a head scratcher to hear that Mozilla — the company that once ticked off the advertising industry by announcing plans to test a patch to block third party cookies by default — will now be displaying ads right from inside its browser. Last year a top lobbyist from the Interactive Advertising Bureau called Mozilla’s default block on third-party ads a “nuclear strike” on the industry,AdAge points out, but the two groups are certainly a bit friendlier now: Mozilla says in a blog post today that it’ll start selling …

  15. Started by Dateranoth,

Well, I just feel like ranting a little bit. I went downstairs last night to watch a movie, and my HTPC blue screened and refused to boot. Said screw it and went to bed. Got up this morning and found out it was bad memory. Had a couple of older sticks laying around so I put them in, started the RMA process on the new ones and then thought I'd watch something. Well, when the memory went it also took out major portions of the registry, and after about an hour I finally managed to get it to boot again. Things were still jacked up, no DHCP, half of the services wouldn't start. Ran all the error checking things I could think of and everyone failed to fix it. So now I'm at…

  19. This is just too good! This morning, Senator Dianne Feinstein finally got angry over the abusive practices of the intelligence community that she oversees as head of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Historically, of course, Feinstein has used her role of "oversight" to actually do everything possible to protect and defend the various intelligence organizations. However, as we've been discussing, Feinstein has wanted to declassify and publish an apparently devastating $40 million 6,300 page report detailing how the CIA's torture program was a complete disaster. The CIA has been fighting hard against this, and in the last few weeks, it came out that the CIA also spied o…

There is a new show on called Resurrection that I love. The idea of it is what would happen if loved ones came back from the dead exactly how they last appeared. So I have to ask...if you could resurrect one person; famous, family member, pet, etc.... who would it be and why?

Tuna and I will be starting a new St. Patricks tradition tonight. Antoinette will be there as well, but probably drinking something fru fru like white wine spritzers. Anyways, Tuna and I will be boarding our time machines and drinking 40's of Mickeys. So, if you're awake and looking to drink, come join us in Teamspeak tonight. No ETA on a time. Probably sometime after Tuna gets off of work. 6:30PM PST or later. lol^

... and I gotta say I've gotten quite fond of building these things. They basically come in pieces on plastic trays you have to cut out every piece, sand them on the left-over nubs and polish them a little bit. These kits I built have some amazing flexibility, figure a human being flexibility, and would probably contain 200-250 pieces each. Sorry for some of the average quality picture, camera is a bit old and not the best.

...a boy! We found this morning so that makes three boys total with Granite and Logan. We are still throwing around names...I like Liam and of course Jason wants Forrest, but I refuse to have a kid named Forrest. I can only imagine if this baby plays sports like the other two and the coach yells "Run Forrest". Yeah, I don't think so.

  24. Mind is definitely blown....

  25. Woooo! So damn exciting! Seriously can't wait! :D
