  3. Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh.... go fuck yourself guy. http://io9.gizmodo.com/texting-may-soon-be-allowed-inside-americas-biggest-mov-1770857630 Apparently the new CEO of the AMC Theatre group, Adam Aron, feels that all those little ads at the beginning of the movie to TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING PHONE and be RESPECTFUL of those around you pretty much are stupid and kids should be allowed to do what they want. Yeah no. Absolutely drives me nuts when I go to the theatre and someone is like sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME on their phone the whole time. Same deal if they're in front of me. Cell phone screens are bright and super distracting in a dark theatre. …

It's both. http://www.mymodernm...ic-acrylic-body Alexa Meade thinks completely backwards. Most artists use acrylic paints to create portraits of people on canvas. But not Meade - she applies acrylic paints on her subjects and makes them appear to be a part of the painting! Meade is an installation artist based in the Washington, DC area. Her innovative use of paint on the three dimensional surfaces of found objects, live models, and architectural spaces has been incorporated into a series of installations that create a perceptual shift in how we experience and interpret spatial relationships. I was lucky enough to catch up with Meade and ask her about her thought proc…

LOL It's getting old slapping Kitty and Mandy in there all the time, plus the face you posted is just too cool/creepy to NOT use. <div style='background-color:#e9e9e9; width: 425px;'><object id='A64060' quality='high' data='http://aka.zero.jibjab.com/client/zero/ClientZero_EmbedViewer.swf?external_make_id=hiXwCqk6lBwGcHfs&service=sendables.jibjab.com&partnerID=JibJab' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' wmode='transparent' height='319' width='425'><param name='wmode' value='transparent'></param><param name='movie' value='http://aka.zero.jibja…

Hi everyone, Just checkin in. I have been having a rough time lately. I am trying to get off some of my meds (morphine to be exact), and its kicking my ***. I am having some severe withdrawal from it. I got down to 2 a day instead of 9, and it got to be too much and finally talked to my doc. He put me back up to 3 a day for now. Then we will make the steps down another way. Needless to say, I am not very socialable right now! I'm doing good to keep it together for my family. Sadly, speaking about family... my sis just had a biopsy to check on her progress after her bone marrow transplant. It wasn't good. The luekemia is still there and growing rapidly. We thought when she…

So, for a while I haven't been on here and I miss all you guys. I'll start with that. Anyway, despite being swamped with work, college starting soon, all my friends leaving me, and whatnot, we decided to have some fun. I went skydiving roughly 9 hours ago. Here are some pictures and the quick sample video. I'll have the full one soon when it comes in the mail! And the link to the video is right here unless I can embed it. http://www.funskydiv...eo=NITE0312.swf

So Kirby went to the Vet today for a dental cleaning today. I was in Manhattan and could not get home in time to pick him up before the vet clinic closed at 6pm. .. I called and he is fine .. woke up with ease and is eaten/drinking well. I can pick him up first thing tomorrow morning. .. But . .. I think this is the first night at home Tam and I have spent without him .. and it's .. oddly quiet. Strangely quite. Even though it's only over night I still expect to see him somewhere. .. I don't what it's going to be like for me when I have to put him down. He's 12 or 13 so I know he has a few more years in him . .. but man .. it just seems so lonely here. I don't know how y…

  12. So Stealthy has been bugging me about getting a Mic for my PC. LoL I haven't had one, and I've been using a really crappy pair of earbuds from an old MP3 player on my PC in the evenings when Coy was sleeping. Hit up Best Buy today and ended up getting a set of these. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/computer/gaming-headsets/gamecom-377 On sale, unopened for $19.99! What d'ya think? Good buy? I think I like them so far. Pretty comfortable and sound actually decent even though they're only a stereo set and not "surround".

  14. This is pretty sweet. I'm glad that they're trying to at least give them things like a little mini-projector, MPEG player and other amenities since they're going to be stuck down there for 4 months. I wonder how they're going to deal with the battery life of the PSPs though. Yikes. http://gizmodo.com/5...miners-get-psps I love the comment on the Giz site though. NY Post Has Chelsea become so trendy even Martians are scouting for co-ops? A silvery vision of a dozen balloon-like dots hovering in yesterday's clear-blue sky over West 23rd Street had thousands speculating the mysterious objects might be UFOs. Callers began phoning the NYPD and Federal Aviation Administration at 1:30 p.m. with reports of the strange, silver objects high in the sky. "Some people saw something described as yellow with blue lights surrounding it," said FAA spokesman Jim Peters. He added that if the objects were weather balloons -- as some suggested -- his agency had no prior notification they'd be launched. Jason DiamondLOOK, UP IN THE SKY! A crowd …

thought this was pretty nifty so im sharing it with yall this is a 105mm shell that i had to polish up at work. wish i took a before picture but this was the end result of about an hour and a half. i finished it up at 5pm, its not 2 am and my arm is still sore from it. you wouldnt think it but it gets heavy quick. all the weight on one side and you press and turn it against the wheel. if i was smarter i would have swapped hands that was holding it but i didnt.

  18. Man am I stoked. Coy and I bought a brand new mattress set today and certainly didn't skimp out. Granted, I'm a few grand shorter in in bank but my god I can't wait for a good night's sleep. We bought a BeautyRest "Black" series, plus we saved about $600 off retail since it was still a New Years sale. She's had the same crappy bed since before we even met. Getting delivered tomorrow! Wooooot!

  20. I don't think a dropkick would have been too excessive for this little punk. The police say they've been called to the school twice before and both times the officers were able to talk the boy down. This time it would seem, that wasn't an option. I'm certain many will use the scapegoat of video games, music and movies, but at what point do we start to look at the parents and demand some amount of responsibility for the actions of there childern? Are we so emasculated as a society, where we're now held as psychological prisoners to our childern and completely afraid to be parents, so ridiculous outburst such as these don't ever make there way outside of the home? Some kids…

  22. Soooo, I was reading Geekologie today at work (that site makes me laugh frequently) and of course the following information gem was brought to my attention. Apparently on Amazon there is a Miley Cyrus "Love Doll". *shudders* I did not know they made such a thing, but I guess they make EVERYTHING now a days don't they? Anyways, it's extremely amusing to me to see what was listed in the "Customers Also Bought" section on the webpage. Who knew that Dragon Age 2, its respective strategy guide and seasons of Dragonball: GT went well with blow up dolls? ROFL! Here is a screengrab from Geekologie: Aaaaaand, just for the record here's the link directly to Amazon also from G…

Hola Family I missed you guys and I hope that all is well, and life is not being a B*** to all of you lol. As most of you guys know my son Tony was in a bad car crash and lost the use of both his legs and also lost his girlfriend in that crash. And at one point things didn't look good for Tony as I was told by his mother and we flew back to Italy to be with Tony. Doctors tell me that Tony will be able to get the use of his legs back, but it will take some time for this to happen. Tony is now out of the hospital and back home with his mother. He really wants to go back to his apartment but doctors tell him that he will be better off if he's is with someone that can be…
