Hey all! I'll be gone for a week (maybe 8 or 9 days) and am taking a MUCH NEEDED vacation. My parents own a house down in Florida so I'm going to be staying down there. I'm super excited. I think I'm going to go to Sea World (Disney is a RIPOFF it's so damn expensive now, and I have corporate discounts I can use on for Sea World tickets), and I'm thinking I may go check out this Sleuth's Mystery Dinner show also which sounds kind of cheesy and fun. That being said, I won't be around for my regular streaming hours so someone is going to have to take over for me on that Friday and following Monday. Not sure if I'll be back for that next Friday's stream either! Dam…

So I picked the game up when it came out last Tuesday and have been playing through it on my PS4. While it's not a terrible game whatsoever, I just feel that the title absolutely does not live up to the expectations and hype that surrounded its prerelease. The game world does not feel very alive to me, in the same manner that titles like GTA felt very "organic" and living. It's hard to describe, but it feels stilted and shallow I guess? I'm also not a huge fan of the driving at all. It feels off to me. I have been enjoying the minigames myself. Spider tank is a real joy to play. The jumping flower psychadelic thing though is weird and difficult, and Cash Run f…

A couple of things came up. Nothing to fret or worry about. We're pushing it back one week and it's going to be worth the wait. So, new date is Feb 7th starting at 6 PM EST and continuing on at 9 PM EST on a live stream to be decided later. Keep checking this thread for updates on which channel and the link to it. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask them here. I will not be answering why we pushed it back. It's of minor importance and the giveaway should be the main focus. Best of luck to everyone! ***** Update: The livestream portion of the giveaway will be held on the Gamercide channel on Twitch. - http://www.twitch.tv/gamercide *****

I'm almost too late, but I wanted to wish you a happy birthday. Hope you had a great day!

So Blizzard just announced that they are remaking the entirety of the original Diablo within DIablo III (free patch for those who own Reaper of Souls), and available on both PC and console editions of the game. The full 16 levels of the original Diablo, all the original bosses, optional graphical effects and filters (I imagine a pixilation option to make it seem more retro), and also an 8 directional movement system. Seriously cool. Also, they have announced that they are re-introducing the Necromancer class from Diablo II.

The House of Mouse has officially killed LucasArts and cancelled Star Wars 1313 and all other projects that were in development. I would say this is a sad day, but in all honesty Star Wars Kinect was the last game they developed and released and we all know how that turned out. “After evaluating our position in the games market, we’ve decided to shift LucasArts from an internal development to a licensing model, minimizing the company’s risk while achieving a broader portfolio of quality Star Wars games," LucasArts parent company LucasFilm said in a statement. "As a result of this change, we’ve had layoffs across the organization. We are incredibly appreciative and proud …

http://www.justin.tv/pianokeys Green Grenades demands you come watch him live, on JTV. He said something about banning people who read this thread, but don't click the link. He sounded super serial.

Bungie is no longer bound to Microsoft. Looks like the whole concept of exclusivity is melting away. http://www.joystiq.c...ith-activision/ Of course it has nothing to do with Halo which MS owns but still that's pretty big news.

I just had to ask this question because I was playing the Halo REACH beta, and this guy was going insane over this killstreak I got off of him... and his team... if i can, ill record it and post it later. Do you have a story of someone rage quiting?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dragon of Fates!!!!!!!!! Hope ya have a good one!

Look to your left. The object closest to you is now your one and only weapon. Describe what it is (be honest), post a picture if you like, and write a short sentence or two describing how you would use it, or how it would be completely useless to you.

My new favorite place to buy games is now Kmart. I never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth. I mean, really, Kmart? That's not the first store that pops into my mind when I think of where I'm going to buy a new game. That being said, I have NO idea how they keep running promotions like they have been. Example: I bought Halo: Reach on release day from Kmart. $59.99. What's on my receipt? A $25 gaming coupon to be used on a future purchase. I bought Castlevania on release day from Kmart. $59.99 - $25 = $34.99 for a brand new game. What's on my receipt? A $20 Gaming Coupon to be used on a future purchase. I just bought Vanquish. $59.99 - $…

"NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life." I'm excited. Anyone else?

Happy Birthday Sedington! Hope you have a good day today! You're lucky I don't have a mugshot of you or you'd get the jibjab treatment. LoL

http://www.joystiq.c...ndos-3ds-event/ You can get all the details above, or from another site, but the key questions of price and release date have finally been announced. I'm REALLY hoping that Gamestop will have some sort of trade-in promotion for it. I'd trade in my DSi and maybe a game or two if I could get $100 off.

http://www.thedutycalls.com/download.html Yes, Bulletstorm is officially taking on Activision with their release of "The Duty Calls". How long before Activision requests/forces them to remove it? By the way, the above is a FREE DOWNLOADABLE PC GAME!!! More than 700MB large, it's a full fledged PC shooter supposedly featuring: 1. Duty Vision™ slows down the action so you can unload a storm of bullets 2. Immersive dialogue from the front lines 3. Cold, calculated realism 4. Killing animations motion captured from real actors 5. True-life reloading system allows for mistakes in putting the cartridge in the gun 6. Iconic sound effects 7. Thwart an enemy threat that could to…

Users from all across the board, Xbox 360/PS3/PC, are taking to Metacritic by storm to slam the most recent Call of Duty title to be released. Currently on Metacritic for the 360 it's averaging about a 2.5/10 from almost 1200 User Reviews. The biggest complaint is that they feel it's a complete re-hash with the same graphics engine. While I can agree with that sentiment on some levels, they did change a bunch of things including weapon unlocks, how killstreaks are achieved, and added a couple new game modes. Why all the rage? Games like Madden, Tiger Woods, FIFA, Basketball and Baseball games and other sports titles come on consistently and on an annual basis with ge…

More and more info has been leaking out about the next Xbox, codenamed Durango, and all signs are pointing to the rumors being true regarding always online connectivity, mandatory Kinect usage, and the fight against used video games. Previously it's been reported that MS and Sony were looking into ways to disrupt the used game market. There was a lot of uproar over this. Check this out from the Durango Hardware Overview: "Every Durango console will have a hard drive, although its exact capacity has not been chosen. It will be large enough, however, to hold a large number of games. All games will be installed on the hard drive. Play from the optical disc will no…

I'm debating it. I liked the first one a lot and I loves my RTS games. Shame it isn't downloadable on Steam.

After reading the thread here about Limbo being offensive, I decided to write an article about games and what is considered offensive. So....your opinions are needed once again. Remember your gamertag will be attached to all comments. What makes a game offensive in your opinion? Do you have an example of a video game scene that you thought was offensive or borderline offensive? Or are people just too sensitive these days after all, it's just a game? Spanks
